I know the song and the group - but I still don't see how the term sanctuary was prompted by the Guardian report.Skiddaw1 said:Patr100 said:

The big question though, is what the local council will actually allow him to do with it. re: planning permission.
Unless he has got some strong indications already for a change of use, he is taking a chance.Squibb, 49, is hoping to get permission from the local council to turn it into a pop-up shop, office or “live-work space” that entrepreneurs can use – potentially for up to a month at a time – free of charge. Not that he is too bothered I suppose:
Property developers have also contacted him to tell him that, with the right planning permission, it could be developed and sold for £500,000.At the very least, he said he hoped he would be allowed to put a desk on the landing and use it as an office space himself. “I own a £2m mansion not too far away, but I think I actually prefer the staircase. It’s the potential of what it can do to help other people. It really excites me.”

I think some of us are showing our age! I got it straight away.
Unless by quite some stretch , a business space is some kind of sanctuary , I suppose.
Oh well, let's move on.0 -
The pun was about The Cult, as you say, but was prompted by something about the whole business vis a vis 'we help entrepreneurs for free' not seeming quite right. No apparent objective; no apparent source of income; missing information and broken website link; photogenic young ladies all over the place... Perhaps I'm a cynic.Patr100 said:

Anyway, back to houses!0 -
Nice house (and bear), but the term "Punctuated by sash windows" is rather irritating.Green_hopeful said:2 -

Several "Have a look at this" favourites in this house:

The floorplan on this new build confused me at first. I assumed it was the whole floorplan for three different houses. But no.
Why live in a nice two bed house with space for a car on the drive when you can instead live in a flat above a car park with your dining room on the landing?

The whole advert is confusing - There appears to be images from four, may be five different homes being shown. So you might get a juilet balcony, patio doors opening out to a garden, or the top floor of a multistorey carpark. Definitely view before you buy rather than going for off-plan.greensalad said:The floorplan on this new build confused me at first. I assumed it was the whole floorplan for three different houses.
