Add the two together - a yard the cat can go outside safely in without roaming any further.  Known as a cat safe garden!

Keep in mind that the owner might have been hounded out of their home by false accusations and vandalism or worse.

It's also possible that someone living there is a criminal and now locked up, and their family is being forced to leave because of their actions.

It's probably not a very funny story.

I had the same kitchen unit style in the house I moved into in 1993.
Though for me at the time it was quite a step up as I never had a "fitted" kitchen before.
