Does Harry Potter live there (pic 7)Woolsery said:t1redmonkey said:The rear extension on this looks so bizarre to me: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/117856763#/?channel=RES_BUY
I remember an extension on the back of a farmhouse my family had in the 70s was in timber frame clad with corrugated iron outside and asbestos on the inside. It must've had a EPC of Z.
That's a nice Queen Anne age property, though.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
snowdrop99 said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/85058700#/?channel=RES_BUY very sad to think that someone was living like thisBathroom - UPVC double glazed windows to side and rear, low level W/C, sink unit with inset sink bath, step-in shower cubicle, mix of tiled and papered walls, laminate flooring, radiator
The Estate Agent constantly mentioning the "paper walls/tiles/fitted carpet/laminate flooring" to avoid mentioning the missing ceiling and the state of other rooms etc.
As if a renovator will care that much.

The photos are fine if you look at the Rightmove listing, but for some reason s1homes have weirdly cropped all of them on their site.Gers said:https://www.s1homes.com/Flats-for-sale/2022042800051035.shtml#What a dreadful set of photographs, three or four of one print on a wall and I have no idea what the second last one is of.6 -
The bedroom wall here gives me shivers. How a big a job would that be? I'd steer clear

otherwise a lovely property.MovingSiren said:Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott
It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.1
