Another by the same 'developer' I think. I'm not sure how you fit a pan on the hob?

I never understand the wetrooms as the only bathrooms.JuzaMum said:Lovely flat on Marketplace https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/967871963918259/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks
A mere £866 a month for a property with no room to store anything, no oven and no space for a washing machine. I think it was a garage before the stunning (as in I am stunned that they think this is habitable) renovation.
Imagine having a guest over shortly after a shower and having to tell them to either leave their shoes on or take their socks off if they need to use the toilet or they will end up with wet socks.5 -
I think you would have to mop the floor dry after use anyway or, before you know it, you will have mould in the corners wouldn't you? You are really just giving yourself a massive shower tray to look after.atarisrocks said:

There is an oven of sorts sandwiched between the two wall units. You're not going to do a roast dinner for four in it, but then you'd never get that many people in there...JuzaMum said:Lovely flat on Marketplace https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/967871963918259/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks

I won't deny they look lovely. Agree though that unless you only need a place to sleep from your home that they are impractical. The addition of built in storage (wardrobe and drawers) would add so much more to them though.May you find your sister soon Helli.

I was expecting some posh part of London, not Bournemouth! I knew it was a more expensive area but didn't think something like this would exist, let alone rent for so much.JuzaMum said:Lovely flat on Marketplace https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/967871963918259/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks

This is on a good road in Peterborough. Edwardian or Victorian houses. Unexpected interior.
The mains cable *on* the bath pic 17, presumably for the kettle, was a nice touch for the HSE members of this forum.0 -

Actually, as a home when you have your first job and either want to live away from your parents, or you need to, I think this studio flat will be good. The person living there won't have accumulated much stuff, probably can't afford big utility bills and it looks quite trendy. When I first left 'home' I was paying the equivalent of £500 per month (in today's money) for a room in a shared house complete with grimy threadbare carpets, shared bathroom and limited heating. I'd have much preferred that clean and new studio flat!

I should say so. With the pins sticking upwards, it will hurt like hell if you step on the plug getting out of the bath.

Nobody wants to live in squalor but personally I would put up with staying at home or something a lot cheaper in order to save a 10% deposit on something like this https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/88379237 The mortgage would be half that rent and allow you to save again for your next step up. This rent simply makes no sense to me.Liz1966 said:Lovely flat on Marketplace https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/967871963918259/?ref=browse_tab&referral_code=marketplace_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks
