No, sorry, that's just the way the Street View link came labelled. I'll be interested to hear what state it's in in if you do manage a visit.Gers said:GaleSF63 said:
A bit of clever photography there giving the impression of a lot more light and space outside at the front. And "private lawned roof garden" doesn't normally immediately make you think of a rather neglected probably shared open space on the road above.user1977 said:
You'd probably be safe enough given it's pretty much an underground bunker! Don't think I'd fancy paying the premium for the grand views you normally get from up on Park Circus, only to live somewhere which seems to hardly get any light, never mind a view.Gers said:I could almost live in this one, though the problem of a nearby tower being evacuated and deemed dangerous makes me wonder!
18 Woodlands Terrace - Google Maps
The location and address will sell it though. That's not the address though, Parks Gardens Lane is behind Woodlands Terrace, down a wee lane and not in front of the staircase and not accessed by street view. Can't argue about it being a bit dark, I had a friend who lived in a smaller mews cottage in the locale which was also on the dark side but he made it equally as lovely as this one. Swings and roundabouts!0 -
This one is very interesting - I'd guess a male owner but who knows.

It's always nice to see one with a proper garden rather than a graveyard that you don't own and can't do anything with.Kyrae said:Love a good church conversion, probably costs a fortune to heat but love all the original features!!

That looks like the layout has been done so in the winter you can largely ignore the hard to heat vast living room and retreat to the small snug easier to heat living room downstairs.Kyrae said:Love a good church conversion, probably costs a fortune to heat but love all the original features!!

It has an EPC rating of G, which is the lowest possible.Kyrae said:Love a good church conversion, probably costs a fortune to heat but love all the original features!!

Well the headstones may be gone, but that may well be all that has. The park next to my work place is basically the grounds of an old church, in dry weather there has been one or two patches that have collapsed into voidsSlithery said:
