Puts me in mind of the survey we had on previous house, where the surveyor was very disparaging of what he referred to as an 'unsightly erection at the rear of the garden'.
(said erection was an allotment-style shed, clearly once a bomb shelter that had been added to organically over the years. We rather liked it and after we moved in I renovated it. When we came to sell, I was amused to see our EA refer to it as a 'useful potting shed').1 -
