EDIT: Thanks to the wonders of Google and looking up his call-sign (which is on both an internal and the shed-door), it seems the owner was a retired Telecoms engineer, and rail buff, who kept Collies, one of which was called RADAR.5 -

In the 1970's and 80's my mum was a soft furnisher and most of her business was making curtains for houses in that road and another close by. All swags and tails with frills upon frills.
