Yep, all you need to get an EPC above 100 is to generate more energy than the house uses. I suspect that house will need a BIG wind turbine to achieve that, which might cost more than the house.theoretica said:The best EPC I have seen - property currently very unmodernised and surveyor mentions improvements that start with loft insulation and go all the way to a wind turbine (subject to planning permission).

Post a link to the property.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Not many people choose ANY flat as their forever home, basement or otherwise.Poster_586329 said:
I'd definitely prefer the 1st floor flat if the garden was communal. Basement lucky to have sole use of it.FreeBear said:
It is only a flat, and in the basement. Agreed, the main bedroom, lounge & kitchen/diner are spacious, the views through the windows are not brilliant.moneysavinghero said:
Seems like a reasonable sized house. Plenty of space for a desk. So not sure what they are doing on that computer that it needs to be hidden away down in the coal hole.Poster_586329 said:
Incidentally I wonder do lower ground flats come on the market much more frequently than hall or first floor. You'd expect that to be the case since they're generally less desirable. Not many people choose a basement flat for their forever home.1 -

I wonder if they know what that Versailles sign really means? They may be eco warriors, but bet they don't wince at the utility bills.Poster_586329 said:
