I don't even think this flat is at all that bad. Where I come from 20sqm studios are fairly common - this one is 2x the size and having a mezzanine for a mattress is a clever use of space. Would suit someone as a first home in early adulthood, or someone who works in London but lives elsewhere.Poster_586329 said:
Guitar on wall, though!ProDave said:
How does something like that ever pass building regs? I'll start with a staircase as to have 2 metres headroom ALL te way from top to bottom?Poster_586329 said:This micro-flat looks a lot more appealing when you spin round Google 'Street View':
Must confess I just took the link from Vice:

Spot the at least 9 different bookcases (plus two more with CDs/DVDs), organ, piano, violin and viola (case looks bigger than violin's)1 -

At least we know who is making Amazon such huge profits.0 -
That's very neatly done. Well thought out, right down to the laundry maid! Bit like caravan living. Apart from the location I think I could nest down in there very nicely.Poster_586329 said:This micro-flat looks a lot more appealing when you spin round Google 'Street View':1 -
I could have gone for something like that in my youth but couldn't stand somewhere that small now.Dandie89 said:

Agree it's a good use of space, aside from one glaring waste of floorspace, namely having two staircases.0 -
Rank amateur - my mother had eleven bookcases, including one facing you about halfway down the stairs. Three were floor to ceiling and two of those were about three yards wide. And some books were piled on the floor because there was no room on the shelves.od244051 said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/79989030#/media?id=media1

Good point. Would whip that spiral out. I do like that they have indulged in having a bath though. That I would miss.NaughtiusMaximus said:Dandie89 said:

You clearly don't have prostate issues. Most nights, I'm up once to have a pee, but the other night I was up 3 times. So, get out of bed. Crawl across 'The Snug', hopefully don't fall down the stairs, and, at last, I'm in the bathroom. Hopefully, I've held it that long. Reverse that procedure to get back to bed, and how are you going to get back to sleep? Even in London, you can just about buy a proper flat for £360k.Dandie89 said:

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1
