Good grief! What on earth is going on in pic 15?
The lane? What can you see that I can't?

Apologies! Pic 8 (of 15) was what I meant to say. What on earth is the room in question? Looks like some sort of underground Roman temple.

okay so I am furious with who ever has done THAT to their bathroom.
    Why.

Well they have devalued it by putting a stupid large bathroom in what should be bedroom 3, and leaving what should have been the bathroom as a "study" too small to be called a bedroom.

And why, according to the floor plan, 2 doors into the study?

And no banister on the stairs makes it unsafe for children.

A lesson in how to devalue your house?

Whatever it is, I wish it had been posted before I had my cataract surgery, not after. An eye can only take so much.
    It's the steam room.
Not far from the gym and that wonderful home cinema.

They have been on the MSE website, where they were told to make it perrrfffecccttt for themselves. They deserve it. You only live once. It’s only £100 per month extra on the mortgage. ......
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

And if that bath is tiled like that on every side , those taps are going to be hell to get to for maintenance or replacing without destroying the tiling

I would love a steam room like that.  It's a pretty classic design reminiscent of many an alpine hotel.  Actually I rather like this house.  The cinema room is not for me but the rest is done in rather classical styles I think.
