Weird. I see it ALL the time. But then I think because it is such a British thing I really notice it. I am Scandinavian and could not imagine anyone doing that there as people tend to be quite house proud. I'd rather lose a bit of deposit and live comfortably, but I think people in this country overall are fine with the blanket aesthetic. If it doesn't bother you then that's all that matters.MaryNB said:
I've always covered sofas in blankets in rental properties (or moved into rentals where someone had already done it) to prevent anybody from staining the couch and losing some deposit. I have rarely seen it done where somebody owns their place.Hannimal said:0 -

I feel like they've inflated the price of this one by £20k from what is reasonable for the area because they have a "trendy" diagonally painted wall and green metro tiles in the bathroom and kitchen. Knowing Bristol, it will sell soon .

I didn't realise anyone still put cars in garages! I would imagine it is either for a motor bike or a fancy shed.Hannimal said:
What is that behind the garden? And how do you get a car in the garage?Rambosmum said:https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/77134671#/
There's a reason they keep the garden photos until last.
The building beyond is a commercial building, officers or a small factory, I'm not exactly sure. Goggle maps doesn't help identify it either.0 -
By the looks of it it's an old telephone exchange/ where the operators worked. But isn't currently.0
