Omg it had a beautiful Minton tiled hall and beautiful fireplaces. The Minton tiles are gone and the fireplaces painted over or removed. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/details/england-90027871-13058128?s=9800710637fe142560bde1f288cd941f768187827e5263925aab218850543ecf#/Eilidh1970 said:This house contains the creepiest collection of ornaments I've ever seen.

Oh that's lovely! If ever there was a wee hoose with potential it's that. There's some wonderful furniture in situ. Particularly like those dining chairs.

That really is an odd room indeed. As well as having a sink and whatever that mini-oven/stove is on, the cupboards look quite high up. I'm not short, and I think I'd need a stepladder to get to them.joho said:Very sweet cottage but not very liveable with that kitchen.

EDIT: Where would the dish-rack go? As well as other things like the fridge/freezer.0 -
Built in a time when all you’d have would be a sink and a stove. No fridge no freezer no washing machine etc. Life used to be very different.RHemmings said:

Surely even before modern appliances it was still useful to have somewhere to the stack wet, washed dishes though?horsewithnoname said:

But absolutely no garden at the back. Front garden isn't really big enough to do much with.Skiddaw1 said:joho said:Very sweet cottage but not very liveable with that kitchen.

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

It is nice - I love the Belfast sink, but I did think that room was a downstairs toilet when I saw the photo of just the sink. Is there a back garden at all?FreeBear said:
