Oh my! I'd love a verandah like that. But why isn't there a photo of the view from it?

Not only is it down a path, but it looks to be quite a narrow one as well. I'm not sure what you mean by 'End of the back garden is on the road behind'. Unless I have the wrong house, it seems to both front onto and back onto different parts of Ayott Path.0 -
I think the first photo is the front of the house. If you compare it to the historic photos. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/details/england-55016284-88612809?s=644d7cdb282689a92a1b2479d174212036822686565c4fd3ba9fece8f0ab6a9f#/ it is quite confusing.2

The top photo is of the back of the house, looking at the map I thought that the rear of the back garden was on Walshford Way, certainly some of the houses on that path are and the streetview through Rightmove seemed to show that.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. The rear view of the house is amusing, it's a competition to see who can build the biggest shed on top of their roof (loft conversion) and this one comes last with it's small shed on the roof.
This was the typical 3 bed 1930's semi that i grew up in. All they have achieved with that loft conversion is trading the usual tiny 3rd bedroom for a slightly bigger one in the loft. But still 3 bedrooms.2
