You are doing well on the savings pots and weight loss. Can you save the rent your flatmate gives you at the moment so you can see if you could manage without it? So it could be used to build up pots until she leaves.
I count calories but would struggle on 800 a day. I just need to lose 7 lb to get to my ideal weight but this seems the hardest bit to lose but nutracheck recommends 1400 a day. I think lantanna makes a good point about it being easier if it is just you. I have a DH who can eat anything and everything and never put on weight so there is always temptation for me.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. You just reminded me I have a bag of new potatoes in the cupboard so maybe I will work in a few. I struggle with staying away from diet fizzy drinks too. I’m either really good or really bad there’s no in between with me. I’m not a big lover of a ready meal either. I really only got them to start me off as I thought it would help me get used to eating smaller portions and I didn’t have to think much about it. I couldn’t do 800 calories everyday no way, It’s only recommended for 12 weeks as an everyday diet, you then move to 800 calls for 2 days a week 5.2. I guess whatever the diet eat less and you will lose weight. I’m in it for the long haul so it needs to be sustainable. I think we are doing great managing to lose anything in this challenging times1

Great work on the weight loss!
I think your lodger is taking the mick a fair bit. I've been a lodger before and we did our own food shopping, sometimes cooked each other a meal etc but for the most part had our own. We agreed on having a cleaner to reduce issues around cleaning. Appreciate that isnt an option at the moment, but I would expect something like week 1, you do kitchen she does bathroom, week 2 you do bathroom she does kitchen and then back to week 1. Doesn't seem right you doing majority of cleaning and cooking!!!Current mortgage (1 Jun 2022): £289,501 - originally £351,999 got to love London sized mortgages!
OP Goal 2022 = 3.75% in OPs: £6,975 / £13,200

I couldn't be bothered with counting calories so joined Slimming World. Have been at target or thereabouts for 10 years now and have never been hungry and I eat carbs every day, although do eat at least one third vegetables and fruit across the day. I'm sure if I actually counted the calories it's probably around 1400-1600 a day. It's certainly a slow weight loss option but I've always thought that if it comes off slowly it's more likely to stay off. I also very rarely do any real exercise other than walking round the shops!
I'm another who thinks your flatmate is taking the P! I think it would be a great idea to save her rent to make sure you can manage on just your own money and would also top up all your pots.

That makes sense. I way about 1600 calories a day usually and only eat for the 8 hour period so its really doable and don't feel like I'm missing out. I lose about 0.5lb a day at the moment. All time I'm still losing well I'm gonna keep with the 1600 when it slows down I can drop my calories then. I like you want it to be sustainable and its made me think about my meals better and have meals that fill me up for longer without the need to snack. I've done well so far on the fizz as just haven't brought it but feel like it's been replaced with tea and coffee at the moment where its so cold all the time.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7300

I can manage without. Just be slower paying the debt off is all. But in a few months it will be gone so won't be an issue. Without her rent I have about 250 to 300 to go towards debts or pots. 100 goes to my dad so would make things bit tighter but my bills would also go down as 25% off CT and single rate on water etc.
