Relaxed with some TV watching after exercise class.
Gratitudes:

Hi just want to share a little celebration dance as am actually coming out of February on budget, the car sucked up a bulk of it - again, but my sports, clothes and entertainment budget came in with £30 left - so I will give that to ds towards his new shoes. That will make him happy. I don't buy him shoes outright as he is very picky and want expensive shoes - so it requires a bit of fundraising and consideration from his side. He doesn't work at the moment so he does things like wash his dads car, sell stuff on dep0p etc, so a but of a MSE'er in the making! He has also learnt to bring his sandwiches to his training after the club rooms were taken over by a cafe - so his bacon bap's are now 3.50 as opposed to £2.
And less MSE I am celebrating to only work half a day of cover, as I really needed this morning off. Have a great tuesday.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
Emergency fund: 100/1000 10%

Grateful for:- nice friend flying in from Africa and cooking us dinner (she insisted.....), and taking the bag she'd stored in our attic two years ago to her sister's where she is staying.- lovely weather today- dds having a good time at my parents', keeping in touch over whatsapp. On the trip back home on Sunday, I tuned into all the local or regional radio stations, avoiding the national ones. Some lovely and funny local dialect songs, some techno (really, how can anyone enjoy that?), quite a few golden oldiesIf the weather keeps up, husband and I will take a walk in central Brussels, which is now all pedestrian area and I haven't been to for about four years. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.597

Happy St Pancake's day to all, dh pancaked the kids as a surprise when we got home from the school run / dentists.Very happy little soldiers. Dh now realises making them pancakes is endless and thankless and why I do not do them more often. Hollow legs and speedy forks 'round here. They did thank him really, but only after all the batter had run out.Today was NSD 14.Got up at 6, did the school run, went back to bed, got up at 1.30, ate, did the school run, ate one dmall pancake, and dh is cooking supper tonight so I am off the clock. Feeling much more human in the last 2 hours (fingers crossed). Really think spending most of the last 48 hours under a duvet has helped. And, as an added bonus, I have lost another lb. which makes 6lbs this month.Still well within budget, with 2 days left til payday.Keep warm if the weather with you is nasty, we have had blue skies and sunshine for most of the day over here, but has just started to rain, again.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I miss DS1 today - he is the only other member of this household who lives 'traditional' (ie: not American) pancakes
I may make a half sized batter mix later for me (have worked out the calories to do so
) but it's not the same.....
Small spend in Tesc0 today - needed thick cut ham for DH's lunches (I bought wafer thin for me at the weekend and he doesn't like it - not that I care - it's mine!), some olive oil and onions. Found some YS duck, so that's gone in the freezer (yum) for another timeStill on NSD 11, I believe. Not that I'm fussed - we had plenty left over in the account this month (yippee - something's working!! - think running down food supplies really helped) , so transferred some to savings and a small OP.
Have Zumba-ed my way around today and yesterday - over 50mins each time, so about the same time as a class, but for free in my own homeTomorrow I am working though - it's an inset day, so it's training/ a workshop for us - with free breakfast and lunch
no Zumba-ing - it shall be a rest day
May sing in the car along the motorway, though
Grateful for: NHS (poorly family member), birdsong, daffs flowering in the garden
