Siebrie I used to make oatie cookies and freeze them (so I could only eat one or two at a time). They were fine (not soggy) when defrosted. Try doing a couple overnight and defrost and try them in the morning. If they're okay you can freeze how ever many you want to. If they're not great you've only lost a couple.

Still wet and windy so stayed in. No matter the weather we will have to go out tomorrow. Himself has a hospital appointment and he's looking for any excuse to cancel it. No chance, He's going whether he likes it or not.
Using up the remains of last's night curry for dinner and had another couple of things from the freezer for lunch including some bread rolls. Still zillions of them to get through.
Half way through clearing a cupboard. I'm not even going to tell you what I found in there.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
NSD 9. I did put a donation in the box for charity at my Nan 's funeral but I'm not counting that
lovely to see lots of my family - definitely counting the occasion as one of my Feb dates! 😀😂
There were lots of food leftovers which people took (thankfully) although some was wasted. I didn't take any as it was mainly all super calorific stuff that only I would eat....
Grateful for: the rain holding off perfectly, fab service from the funeral directors, people liking the things I'd chosen for the funeral, ds2 and ds3 being brilliant, being able to flop in front of old catch up tv when we got back, good swimming lesson for ds3 this evening.
House is chaos, so tomorrow is tackle- downstairs- day and possibly haircuts for the boys - in which case it wont be a NSDI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £2012 -
Today I am grateful for the nurse sorting out my festering wound (possible slight exaggeration, there!) with tweezers, antiseptic and a big ol' plaster, for still getting in a visit to the gym, for the gym now having hot showers (as opposed to blimmin' freezing ones), for reading time with dd, for dh doing a big shop (still can't carry heavy bags or push a loaded trolley), for using up yesterday's leftover sauce for today's tea, for the rain stopping and seeing some sunshine.

Hi everyone just checking in with my daily update.
Clothes - Chose a different scarf to wear with my coat today. Had a compliment about it too!
Music - Stand in DJ on radio 2 this morning so a nice change without me changing station myself, but I actually noticed the change usually I don’t take any notice!
Dance - no dancing today
3 dates - all organised 2/3 left to enjoy
Selfcare - went to a meeting for one of sons clubs actually got changed from work clothes, straightened hair & put moisturiser on. Instantly looked & felt more like I’d made an effort took less than 5 minutes.
Planning / debts - Insurance assessor came to see our leaky roof. Seems we could claim but our excess is about the same at what the cost of repair may be. So tonight/ tomorrow hubby and I are going to do a plan and costing and make a decision. We usual just shove it on a card!!
NSD - 3/8
Gratitudes - having a sort of flexible hours job handy for half term, for the hard work and time volunteers give to run clubs for DS, hubby coming home from work to deal with insurance guy (these things stress me out)!

Yesterday was very slow, did one simple thing then had a long rest before I could do the next. It was mid-afternoon before I had a shower and didn't go shopping, just picked up a bottle of milk from the corner shop in case mum needed it. Got to mum's about 5pm and put myself back into quarantine (mum now has a cold and it's my fault even though she has had other visitors who had it).Bit more with it this morning. Woke between 5 am and 6 am went through morning routine (pills, teeth, food, shower, ate whilst drying, applied creams etc). Just before 9am had a phone call to say clinic had been cancelled, was offered another appointment on Thursday. Explained that we already had a Thursday appointment and had been seeing the nurses monday and Thursday. Found an appointment today at 12.30 but at the clinic we've not yet been too. Then phoned to cancel the taxi and order one for later. We both ate when we got back and then I came back into the bedroom - just been allowed out to watch Dalziell and Pascoe. Finished both the books I brought and have started the cs one I left here after Christmas.Today I am grateful for lovely kind nurses, well signposted cliinc and easy food (brought wraps, low fat cheese spread and tiny tomatoes and have taken things out of the freezer to defrost). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage10

NSD yesterday, although husband did buy some burger-type kind of meat we had for dinner. I have to stay alert, because he is trying to put dinner-prep on me 100% and I'm not having it! He is home everyday at 15.30 (unless he chooses to stay late, for which he is not paid...) and can cook perfectly well; he just chooses to lay on the sofa and watch a movie. I'm not home until 18.00 on Mon-Tues-Thurs-Fri, so it doesn't make sense that I do the cooking on those days. I do the weekly/biweekly shopping, and always ask if there is anything I need to buy for the meals he is going to make, but there never is. He also poo-poo'd my idea of sitting down and making a meal plan for the (two) week(s), so I'm not sure what to do now. I refuse to get frustrated, but it rears it's ugly head now and then; especially NOW, apparently. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5911
