Finally lifted all the flooring. Have put newspaper down so we don't have to walk on the stickiness. It can stay there. Popped into town, chose new flooring and it's being fitted on Thursday.

Loaded the car with the old stuff to take to the tip and that's where it remains as the road was blocked due to an accident so I had to turn round and come home.

Tidied away evidence of the mayhem so when DH gets home he'll think I planned to do it.

Worn out now.

Sorry - been reading along but get interrupted every time I go to post.

Yesterday was a day of spectacular No Flying beyond the limited dailies. Today (day off) has been a long round trip of hairdresser (hated job), errands, food shop ( first proper one this year!). I’ve just unpacked the bags and am already sick of the sight of what I’ve got to put away - having done the trolley / car / house shuffle.

I have 5 minutes now to put away the toiletries etc then it’s back out to pick up DD and run another couple of errands in small town. And breathe .....

On the plus side - en-suite cleaned , wm run, dw emptied, cards and presents for February purchased.

Afternoon all

Paid stuff done, not too late a finish but I’m really tired, I don’t think flying is on the agenda tonight. I did s/s bathroom and downstairs loo at lunchtime, dailies have been done and wm is loaded again for tomorrow so I think that’s enough on top of a work day.

Supper, kitchen reset and then a quiet evening I think. Have a good evening x

Evening all, dragged myself up off the sofa to my bed. Listy put up for tomorrow 😀

Have been feeling like !!!!! last few days so rang the Dr. Upshot is I have flu AGAIN!!!! This is the 2nd time this winter.. How can I get it I don't go anywhere and I had a flu jab..lol so I'm now propped up with 5 pillows so I can sleep, a snuggly dog who insists on looking after me and on of the cats who seems to be attached to me at the moment... Trying to figure out what is hot flushes and what is fever sweats..lol

Tomorrow's job is rest..and sleep and drink fluids. Oh and watch carpe tv if I'm awake.

catch up from lunchtime....

40 winks turned into an hours sleep which then left me groggy for the rest of the afternoon. But with help planned for fetching and carrying, I had to neck back coffee to get some motivation.

Another boot load of stuff was flung into various recycling containers at the dump, I am trying not to send anything to landfill, but it is an uphill struggle.

Another storage box of old school letters and bits and bobs put out for paper/cardboard recycling at home. Sorted some emotional photos today which had suffered some water damage, flung lots of pictures with the Ex-H in, except where they had kids in.....scanning and cropping can wait for another time.

DS danced the shark around this evening, and did a reasonable job, but he is 10 now, so he can be trusted with my beloved Shark DD4 did some craft and tidied her mess up behind her, sorted the uniforms they want for the morning. So everyone has done something to improve the skint pit today

DFF6 enjoyed bacon rinds hand fed by his favourite human slave tonight (aka Skinty). DFF2 had a long fuss on the sofa for ages tonight (shedding half his coat on me in the process) DFF5 has been on and off windowsill duty, so the curtains are going to have to get the Marigold treatment tomorrow and my t shirt and leggings will have to have a squeegee before they go near the WM.

DFF1 is currently enjoying some quiet cuddletime although wants to keep stretching out on the laptop, or laying across my face so I cant see the screen, DFF3 is laying on my feet snoring, DFF4 is currently balancing on top of my bedroom door (3rd night in a row that I know of, so I think my architraves will need some attention tomorrow). All my Furry Faces are rescues, so do not have the best "manners" but they all have kind hearts, which makes the house feel like a home. There's nothing better than seeing a cat in the window to welcome you home!

Dump is closed Wednesday and Thursday, so I will concentrate on getting listy sorted out in ernest.

Early meeting booked for this morning so will be starting work soon, once that’s done I’m going to take an hour back as otherwise I will end up working straight through. I need to pop out and run an errand then I will have a little time to fly.

Cuppa first, quick shower and dress and then get on with it.

Yesterdays trip, combined with the restless night I'd had prior, wiped me out and I fell asleep at 8:30 last night... had an hour all told and STILL had a full nights sleep (with the usual loo visits).
So the kitchen was left wanting.

But I'm off to work now as I am working this morning in class then off to a course this afternoon.

The mess can (and will, for elves and fairies are thin on the ground here) wait.

I heard lots of bumbling about upstairs yesterday evening - then DS came down with arms full of stuff and announced 'I'm flying, Mammy'. He had been inspired by my progress at the weekend to start to turf out his room :T Fling, recycle, cs,cs,cs, recycle, recycle

Never, ever, thought I would be an inspiration to someone in the flying department

My supervisor has jetted off to Goa for three weeks and the two stand-ins have wound me up after one day (They've wound everyone else up too - it's not just me, which I suppose is reassuring ) But I've been awake for hours in the night which is not a good sign. I sincerely hope that no-one presses my buttons today as I am going to be a very tired Roundtuit by this afternoon Hmmm - just as long as I'm not an unemployed Roundtuit by the end of the week :eek: (Shushing my inner Freddie Krueger here!)

Good morning

Paid stuff today. DW is on. DH is still off, so he has walked the dog :T and he is now off for a run. He has the dentist today, so I expect he will want some sympathy later - I will see what I can manage!! :rotfl: (I would make a terrible nurse!!)
I have retrieved the double buggy from under the stairs, and saw the parcel shelf for the car, so I put that in a more prominent place so I don't forget it tomorrow! I took out a few bits from the car, but it is going to take a lot more to clear it!!

Skint I love hearing about your furbabies. I really felt that my lap was empty as I watched TV last night - still missing my old girl since she left me in November
