Only if you don't get a reply in a reasonable length of time , say one to two weeks
If you do post one , get a free certificate of posting from the post office counter. Not signed for , not paying for special delivery , just free proof of posting , a normal stamp only , keep the receipt together with a copy of the letter you send3 -
