  • @SimonBck that’s great news. I think buying your first home is stressful enough and with everything that is happening just adds to the stress. Hopefully everyone in your chain will go ahead. We are settling in well. I am glad it all went through on the date we had agreed as there was a stressful time before when registers of Scotland closed and we weren’t sure if we could proceed. 
    Have you got a date agreed for the move yet?

    We are looking at 17th August at the latest. We have a elderly couple at the top of the chain, they are a little nervous about allowing someone into there house to do a survey which is understandable. They will be moving into a empty property so that will help matters.
  • That’s a good date gives you some time to get organised and for lockdown to ease off a bit. You will be glad once you are in and can get settled in your new home.
