    1) I have a Notice of Allocation to the small claims court (with no password) sent to my home address
As you have a Notice of Allocation, you must have filed a Defence some time ago.

You are now well past the stage of filing an Acknowledgment of Service or indeed filing a Defence.

Indeed, OP just show us a picture of the documents you have
A Notice of Allocation means you have already filed a defence and you have already filed a DQ
If you read the newbies thread, yo uwill see you get allocated to a local coutr after the DQ

Hi, perhaps I was not clear sorry. Everything in this case was sent to the wrong address. I only found out about the ticket after the notification for the court date in March arrived. There is no MCOL reference or passowrd (I have called them) and there is no previous Defence I have filed. The Court notification gives the date, and tells me to file any documents fourteen days prior to the court date. That's it. That's all there is.

So all this has been done in previous threads , meaning you should not have opened a new thread but posted on the old thread , thereby confusing everyone , including me !!

You are at the witness statement plus exhibits plus summary costs assessment stage , not defence stage , you have not been asked to file a defence , you did that months ago

So you need to draft a WS , add the exhibits and summary costs assessment and post the draft below for critique

What you posted on page 1 overleaf is not a witness statement , so read the example in the Newbies FAQ sticky thread , plus read those witness statements in other court cases on here for inspiration

Tip , a WS says I and my , not , the defendant

Gah! OP cant you see how confusin gyou made this?
Please PM a board guide to merge this into your ACTUAL thread, and do not open a new thread about an existing case, ever again
Until this is done I will not waste furthe rtime posting, when most of the facts have been hidden.

BTW obviously you dont use MCOL to file a defence if you already have a court allocated, and an order telling you to file a defence to that court. You file a defnce TO THAT COURT

Show us a picture of the letter with all personal information and references and VRM redacted by placing white card over those details , take a camera picture , attach it to this thread , so we can see what you were told

Was it sent by Worthing or Brighton court ?? Or somewhere else ?

I'm really sorry that this was confusing - I am not very computer literate and I did not know how to find or appemd old threads. The advice here is really helpful and I am sorry for the confusion. It's at Brighton court, beginning of March
