Just stopping by to check in and update my signature.

I'm back to travelling with work again so my home has become a place to wash clothes and repack before heading on to the next event. It's super tiring but I am happy to be back on the road again.

My DFD creeps closer. Months not years now

How on earth is it August?! The last few months have flown by! I feel like we're going to talking about autumn soon. 🤯

I have next week off work and I am so looking forward to it. It's been flat out recently and I can't wait to recover I feel like I need a lot of sleep.

Updated my signature too now all my payments have cleared for the month - we're sub £10k on the DMP now. 71% debt paid off. I'm so happy to be this close to debt freedom. 🤞

  • Not feeling too well today so have taken the day off. I guess I could have worked today as I'm still mainly WFH but I just wanted some down time to rest and get myself back into work properly for the rest of the week.

I've been quietly working away in the background on my debt so have updated my signature to reflect that. Slowly slowly I am getting closer to my DFD.

I've been looking around at other jobs recently and someone got in touch about a job I could do with my eyes closed and it's paying more than I'm on now so fingers crossed!

My MOT is due next month - my car is 8 years old now but I drove her across Europe last month without any dramas so I am hoping she is a good as she sounds and won't cost me a huge amount.

Now to tackle the mountain of washing while I catch up on other debt free diaries :)

Frank's message reminded me that I hadn't logged on for a while so I am doing that now :) Updated my signature too.

I took my car on another epic road trip recently and it didn't miss a beat. It's only a small thing but it always surprises me when I take it out. Got my MOT sorted for £39 and it passed with flying colours.

I've been looking at job opportunities recently and had a few interviews but not sure what I'll do, I just feel ready for the next challenge and step in my career. If I leave my current job, I will miss it but sometimes you've just got to be brave, right?

My message was intended to give you a short sharp boot up the... to remind you to give us an update :P

Glad the car is behaving itself.

Regarding the next challenge, I say GO FOR IT!!! Life is too short :)
