Morning all
I've been away with work in the US - I got back last week but it's taken so long for me to get over my jet lag, I've literally been all over the shop with it. It must be general tiredness too, because I've never had jet lag that bad before.
I've had a couple of interviews recently, all quite interesting and exciting but nothing that's appealed to me enough to want to leave my current job yet. I am keeping my eye open though for anything that may pop up.
I can't believe it's November already - the dreaded C word is so close and I haven't given it much thought at all! I think it will be a relatively small one but I am looking forward to the break. And the food 😂
Paid this month's DMP payment so just waiting for that to clear, usually takes a few days.
Off to watch some fireworks this weekend and then have a whole week off next week, I cannot wait!

DMP payment cleared, signature updated!
I've now paid off 80% of my debt, with 7 months left to clear it all. Eeekk this is a nice feelingNext month I'll be sub £10k for the first time in about 10 years.

I've still got a way to go but for someone that spent a long, long time hiding from the debt and making it worse not better, I am in such a happier/secure place now.
Good luck on your journey, the DF diaries on here have really helped me along me wayTotal: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom3 -

Big news day for me!
I've hit the sub £10k mark and my DMP payment still hasn't cleared yet so it'll go down even further. I literally haven't been this close to being debt free for at least 10 years. 🤞Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom3 -

@jadewest94 - I think we're all the same. Hide away and bury our heads in the sand until it becomes untenable for us, no matter what the amount we owe. It's all relative to our personal circumstances.
At least we are all here, cheering each other on! 👏

6 (and half!) months to go
I am pushing so hard now, after such a slog at the beginning I can really feel the snowball effect now. Is it super sad to be excited about being debt free?Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom3 -
Evening all, just checking in before Christmas. I’ll probably update my signature one more time this year and then I’ll be on the 2022 home straight.
That’s the good news out the way, now for the bad. I got COVID 😔 It’s everywhere here in London so despite being double vaxxed and WFH, I still managed to catch it. I was really suffering for the first few days but I feel like I’m slowly getting better. What sucks is the fact I’ve got to self isolate until the 27th so it’s gonna be a very dry Christmas Day for one here. Seems like there’s a lot of people in my position too. Here’s hoping 2022 will be better..! 🤞
Hope everyone is doing ok, Merry Christmas to you all ❤️Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom0
