Hope everyone is doing ok. It's very windy and rainy here, not nice weather at all. The summer sun seems like a distant memory - especially as I am wearing both socks and slippers to keep warm 😂
Some debt related good news, I managed to switch to a sim only contract and have knocked a decent amount off my monthly bill. I was paying silly money before so it's good to finally be able to change that. I've used that saving to free up some more towards my DMP payment 🙏 I think that's the last of all my bills I can squeeze down.
I am hoping to go for a walk before the sleet comes tomorrow but then I think I'll spend the afternoon having a clearout/ebay session.Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom2 -

Happy Friday everyone! Today is the first day in weeks that I've not got a single meeting!! Woo. Got lots of admin/reporting stuff to do so should be able to get my head down and get on with it.
My DMP payment cleared this morning so I've updated my spreadsheet and my signature. I'm officially half way through my DMP in terms of amount paid off so I really am on the home stretch now. Not quite halfway with the money I owe my step dad but it won't be too long until I get there.
I do need to build up my savings some more, but I'm putting just about everything I can into my debt which works for me.
Here's to the weekend.Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom2 -

It must feel so good to be halfway. You're over the other side of the hill now.
Great job!

And another week passes! I am so busy with work the weeks just seem to be flying by. I wouldn't mind being less busy but I'm happy that lockdown time is passing quickly.
That being said, I'm definitely feeling the exhaustion like many people I speak to, the repetition of routines is quite demotivating isn't it?
The cold weather isn't helping but I did go out for a walk in the sunshine today - it was still freezing but the sun on my face felt lovely.
I'm hoping for a quiet-ish afternoon of work now and a relaxing evening with wine. 😂Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom1 -
It's been a while since I last posted. Financially, things are continuing to go as planned and my debt is going in the right direction. 🙏
Work is very busy but that's a positive as it means our business is doing ok.
So two positives, but one negative coming up - unfortunately not only have I been struggling to stay my usual positive self, my relationship has also come to an end. It's one of those things that you know is the right thing for the both of you, but it still hurts. I know time will heal thing so just gotta keep remembering that.
I did buy some lovely daffodils earlier and the sun was shining all day so small wins ☀️Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom2 -
Happy Monday everyone. Today is my birthday so I took the day off to catch up on myself and go for a walk in the sunshine. Not the normal birthday but my friends sent me lovely thoughtful gifts which made a huge difference.
My DMP went out today so I'm looking forward to updating my signature when it clears. On a personal note the break up is hurting still but am I grateful things with the ex are happy enough - there's no bitterness or animosity which is a plus. Just gotta get through it, but I do miss him.Total: £50,676 £0 🥳 The journey to debt freedom1 -
