Tandem Cashback ending 9th March

I'm also keen to know who to swap to now Tandem's changed!
Aqua seems to be the only other fee-free card I can see that offers both cashback and no international fees, but has quite a low credit limit (one source said 1.2k max?)
I originally got Tandem for the no international transactions but the cashback was nice too...
I managed to spend more than my credit limit on Tandem by paying in money whenever I got close to the limit. I wonder if this strategy would work with Aqua, thereby mitigating at least some of the downside of the low credit limit?0 -
The international side of things doesn't bother me, I didn't use Tandem for that anyway. I have Curve, and I have Halifax Clarity. I also tend to use Revolut abroad, having topped it up with currency in advance when the rate is favourable.
It's the cashback that I'll miss. I don't spend huge amounts so I never got very much (£3 a month or so) but it was something rather than nothing.
I'm not going to go for Amex because I still want to use Curve and Amex doesn't work with that. Plus even used outside of Curve, Amex isn't accepted everywhere.
Will probably end up just having to suck it up. All good things come to an end.0 -

I still have my Debenhams card 0.5% cashback as Debenhams vouchers for non Debenhams spend, so will go back to that for now, until I find a better alternative.0 -
I've asked Tandem support if my card can be converted to the "Journey credit card" as would still be useful for fee-free overseas spending, or at least as a backup card.
Did you get a response? did you ask for that to happen in March? I didnt know they offered that card, so thanks for pointing it out to me. I'll ask for the same.0 -
Very annoyed by this, I used Tandem where my Amex wasn't accepted and for fee-free transactions abriad. I have a legacy Nationwide Select credit card with 0.25% cashback that's fee-free abroad that I can fall back on - although I wouldn't be surprised if they wind that up at some point too.
Any other recommendations for a non-Amex cashback card? Looks like I may have to look into Aqua, although I hear their cards aren't contactless which is a bit annoying.0 -

I need a card that anyone can use at my expense like I need a hole in the head.0 -

No response so far but yes my intention was to switch the card in March, rather than just cancelling it completely.
I asked 2 hours ago...will post if I do get anything.0 -
Considering the Amazon Mastercard (as replacement "almost" cashback card) but pretty bad online reviews. Apparently its run by Bank of America. Anyone tried?0

their FAQ says they don't convert to journey.
also, if you leave tandem, you can't rejoin. they're really trying to push you to making a decision to stay.5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017

I have also received the email, I am absolutely livid so I'm off elsewhere. I've considered the benefits of membership but how long are these going to last? Another couple of years? Fortunately I have both the Aqua cashback card and the Barclaycard cashback card, although both have their downsides.
The Aqua cashback card pays 0.5% cashback and, as far as I am aware, no foreign currency transaction fees. I have kept it active by spending around £50 a month on it, but I have just received notification that my credit limit will be reduced from £2400 to £1500 "as this is more appropriate to my usage".
The Barclaycard cashback card also pays 0.5% cashback, but only on personal, i.e. non-business transactions. They have a list of retailers that they class as personal transactions. Anything else, by default, is deemed a business transaction and does not qualify for cashback.0
