Tandem Cashback ending 9th March

Without wanting to create a new thread, will the termination of the credit agreement affect my credit rating? I will not be taking them up on this "offer" and so my contract will end, I owe nothing to them anyway.0

I also received the email just now, £5.99 fee per month is a ridiculous decision by Tandem. I will be looking somewhere else to get the cashback.0

I've asked Tandem support if my card can be converted to the "Journey credit card" as would still be useful for fee-free overseas spending, or at least as a backup card.
But for sure, won't be paying £72/year just for 0.5% cashback. The 0% spending and ATM withdrawals would only be useful if they gave me a higher credit limit. While I have five figure limits on other cards, they only gave me about £4k when I first signed up. I spend about 25-50% of my limit each month (sometimes overpaying to spend more) and always pay off in full, so the 0% offer wouldn't help me as a daily use card
I wonder why Tandem Journey is not as highly recognised in the MSE overseas cards as for example Halifax Clarity or Santander Zero.0 -
The 0% on cash withdrawals aboard is pretty good if you travel abroad a lot.0

what's the best next (non Amex) option now? Aqua?0

Marcus pays 1.35% so I can't see that it would be worth getting the savings account for the fee.
assuming 85k cap if you're playing safe:
Marcus 85k earns 1,154.63 interest
Tandem 85k earns 1,283.80 interest, - 71.88 fees = 1211.92.
So over the year you're up by 57.29 on Tandem, even after fees.
When looking at it like that, COULD just be worth it.
I still can't seem to find anything on tandem - the 0% ever seems too generous, and there must be a cap to the savings amount??5.41 kWp System, E-W. Installed Nov 2017

Agree this is a really bad move for most of us - it's of no value to me at all. Have written to tell them this - they have the cheek, in their email, to say some changes are because they 'listened to us'. But i doubt anyone asked for a £5.99 fee!0
-
I'm also keen to know who to swap to now Tandem's changed!
Aqua seems to be the only other fee-free card I can see that offers both cashback and no international fees, but has quite a low credit limit (one source said 1.2k max?)
I originally got Tandem for the no international transactions but the cashback was nice too...0 -
