Hope that the pets are better today.
I have been reading and strategising this morning and last night.
dS is still absent. Apparantly laid up with migraine.
dgd has surfaced a lot more and appears happier. Fingers crossed we are having a breakthrough.
I am itching to work to clear my orders, but without childcare I cannot.
hence the reading and planning work.
hope everyone is safe and well.

Beanie, I'm sorry you have a sick kitty and hope you have some quality time together ahead still. My beloved Chivvy died, at the age of 19, in 2010 and I swore I wouldn't put myself through that heartbreak again. Sky and Alfie are the current incumbents of my home - and heartIt's not difficult!

I have been playing with the budget ahead of the new month. I have paid off my argos account. Was on a buy now pay later option, next time it was due was October but I just wanted to clear it off while I could.
the card is now put away and I am going to delete the app from my phone so I don't easily have access to purchase anything else.
dgs2 has had his bath and gone to bed.
dgd has gone back into her room, but she did go out on a bike ride earlier.
I am about to put DGs1 down and hope he will sleep. He has school until 12 tomorrow.Me, I think an early night and start a new book.Sorry to read about poorly kitty. I can't bring myself to have another pet. Not that I can have cats as I became allergic to them a few years ago. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.7 -
Thanks S s.

Well donee paying off the Argos account Ss. One less tihng to think about.Sometimes when I;m tired and in pain I will plot and plan ahead rather than use up all the spoons on physical tasks. It makes me feel I.ve done something useful. It's looking promising with DGS2 . Wait until he's a teenager and you're trying to drag him out of bed.Every bit of progress with DGD is step in the right direction. She sounds happier and more settled. She's a lot younger than my youngest was when she finally got the right help. I hope once the current situation settles DGD will start making bigger steps towards the future with the right support and help.Wishing everone a peaceful night. Try to get your head down soon beanie. Not sleeping last night was a combination of too hot and a lot of stuff in my head.Dd emailed this morning . She hasn't received one of the no longer under shielding texts some people have had.. Letters have been sent to some but nothing here yet. I've spent hours online tracking the science etc concerning those in the extremley vulnerable category . Amongst many I noticed an elderly lady struggling to recover from Cancer surgery. She;d been under shielding as long as dd. She recieved a letter to inform her she had been taken off the list. all the help with shopping, food parcels etc stopped. No family nearby to help her. Luckily a neighbour who'd been keeping an eye on her managed to contact the surgery a mssage was pased to the GP who put her back on the list. For anyone who may have problems or knows someone who is the British Medical association made it very clear today that only a qualified Doctor can add or remove a patient when it concerns the list. They know their patient , their conditions , medications etc. That lady needed the support being on the list brings.Dd had difficulty when it came to priority food ordering as did I when I tried to sort it out as her apointee. Trying different things didn't work. She's always been good with money so she and her BF are mucking in together for food , bills etc.I drop the meds each month halfway up the drive for bf to sanitize and take indoors. They're managing fine I pick up odds and ends and he shops in the village a short walk down th road. They're both obsessive about cleanliness and hygiene so no worries there. My concern is for all those who will slip through the net with little or no income and no source of help.I had a very good education but at one point today I was making comparison graphs between what the Govt were saying and what the medics and scientists were clarifying ,due to errors and misinformation in the Govt information; The fact many welfare agencies are stretched to the limit if they are open means this whole thing will impact many badly.Dds first words today were don't worry mum. I wont be standing behind the front door wearing my sun hat, sunnies if Mags hasn;t hidden them and covered in factor 50 ready to head outside on Monday morning screaming Free at Last. She will be waiting for the phone call from Superdoc. She said unless they change the law I am free to stay indoors. I'm doing my physio indoors and have begun to develop a routine with meals , sleep etc beause we're eating at stupid times. That is music to ears . She's always been a good cook and baker but I've waited 35 years for time management etc to be added to her skills. On the subject of sunglasses mine never did show up. Magrat knows where they are but isn't saying.I did a quick whizz around town yesterday and called at the Pharmacy for my hayfever pills . The pharmacist asked how dd was doing and how the cats were . I mentioned my missing sunglasses and how I;d be glad when the shop was open and I could see if they had the same ones. She told me to have a look and pick up anything else needed. Stocked up on suncream etc. I was the only custome in the store found the idenicak=l glasses and she gave me a free cat proof case.We had a good chat. The security guard held the door open for me going in and out with a smile. I think they were glad to see another human being. Little magrat will be very cconfused next time I drop off the meds. She's very fussy so will probably dig out the originals to prove to herself she hasn't lost the plot..Quick shop in Sbs , no queues ,pretty full shelves and ony two customers beside myself . more chat. The staff sre going a bit stir crazy but nejoying not having to whizz customers through the checkouts asap.I've bought enough to last the next few weeks. I never shop on a Saturdays and spent ages dithering whether to go but was glad I did . The sun brought the hordes today. The beach was crowded. There was a major incident and although the police did their best the air ambulance coudn;t land safely on the beach due to the sunbathers. They had to divert to a park instead which then involved an ambulance trying to navigate through the crowds to get the patient to the air ambulance.I know we're very lucky living near the beach but tbh we haven't been there for ages way too busy.when the sun comes out.The last bank hloiday was great,Loads of cars coming from all directions only to be met by lines of mounted police in each direction. I love it when that happens . People may take on a police officer ,Lifeguard etc but never a very tall horse who would lay down their life for their partner.. The extra bonus is the horses get a canter along the beach before going back to the stables . Horse and rider doing perfct social distancing is a sight to see.Bedime methinks.I've probably sent you all into the land of Nod.No schools open here tomorrow or in many local county and education areas.across the region.DD2 will step in for the children of keyworkers and those needing the structure in their day.Night allpollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.5 -

It is Beanie.
2 burst over 3 days on here from NatalieSav, all on the same point but appearing to forget about their previous posts and not reading the responses to highlight that their thinking is incorrect in between them, I smell something targeted against SS.....
I'm glad you've got an appointment for your hand tomorrow SS- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
- Student Loan gone
Swagbucks, Mingle, GiffGaff, Prolific, Qmee & Quidco; thank you MSE every little bit helps10 -
Polly, it's interesting you saying about people being turned back from the beaches. We have had hoards of people coming here, rescue helicopter called out to people who had been 'tombstoning' and RNLI had to rescue children on an inflatable
I would have loved to see them turned back by mounted police! I don't go to the beach much myself as I burn very easily in the sun.
Savvy, I'm really glad that the children are settling and their behaviour improving. How is your hand?
It's not difficult!
