I see Savvy hasn’t been on, I followed her shop on Facebook and see her health hadn’t been great so she’s given up sewing (such a pity)
Aldo I believe her brother passed away.
i hope she is keeping well0 -
My life has changed once again.
in January I became too ill to continue to care for my grandsons, but thankfully they have been able to return to the care of their parents, now they are free of their past.Mum has them with Dad having weekends as and when they are able.
dgd was able to stay with me as they are now 17 years old and in college. My Mum passed away 3 days ago. 1 year and 5 days after my brother.
Am no longer running my sewing business.I will pop in to MSE as I have to negotiate the complexity of reporting and registration of death, and the dealing with the estate etc etc. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.8 -
So sorry to hear of your great loss, Savvy. Sending condolences.1

Agree, so sorry to hear this news, but glad that it is more positive for the boys than it might have been a few years ago! You have done a grand job for all of them, however inadequate you feel.
I hope you're able to concentrate on your own health and wellbeing now.Signature removed for peace of mind1 -
So sorry to hear your sad news. Take care1

Tomorrow is when things will start to sink in, when I have to go and register Mums death.I shall have to pop to her house and find her birth certificate, or what ever else they required, and then start the process of being her executor.Thankfully I managed a few days for just being and was able to sleep etc.
so the next chapter is dealing with loss. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.2 -
So sad to hear of your troubles Savvy, but hopefully things will improve. Dealing with loss is never easy so take all the time you need.
Thinking of you all

So sorry to hear of the loss of your wonderfull mum savvy. I have only just read your news as I have been AWOL for a while following a family bereavement of our own. Sorting out the estate is hard work and takes as long as it takes. I am glad you got to see your mum before she passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family tonight. Take care of yourself.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
