I'm so hot I can't face going outside.I hope you're all well especially your mum ande brother.pollyxA calm moment, the storms are circling around at the moment.I managed to miss most of them over the weekend. I took DGD up to Barnards Castle for a few days while the boys stayed with their Mum and her partner. The progress made there has been fantastic for all concerned.Yes I do still dabble with the mind maps. Should probably apply them more than I do, I would probably get a lot more done if I did.You have just reminded me that I need to make another Thermal Bag for someone in Canada.
I am slowing down on the alterations at the moment. I want to continue with the PDFs and the books and blogs etc. so something has to give.Twin 2 is in her second week of her new job at the bakery. We are benefiting from some lovely bread. My brother is doing well with his recovery from his hip operation. Surgeon is really pleased with him. It is his birthday in 2 days and mine is on the 22nd July. We will be celebrating at the caravan in Dorset.Mum is pottering around her home but I still haven’t managed to get her out of the house. Perhaps she will respond better to my Brother trying when he comes over for a visit after his recovery.
I have had a lot more me time this last few weeks and it has been strange to start with but now I am planning to remember that I am entitled to me time and that it is necessary if I am to carry on being a carer. The car is costing me a fortune this week. To get it through it’s MOT. More than the car is valued unfortunately, but I want to make it last a few more years. While the boys are still young.Maybe one day I will get another convertible like I had when I had the shop. But for now I’m just going to keep the Renault.
lunchtime already. I shall need to get my self in gear and do some work. Have a good day. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.2 -

I am relieved Beanie, because she is a lot happier, and it does also leave me some space in the front room a little bit. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.2

Thought I'd better respond to your lovely newsy post before new updated forum tomorrow. Not looking forward to change but willing to give it a try.Everything sounds calmer and less stressful now. So lovely you've been able to take DGD out and about just the two of you nowadays. Couldn't be helped but the twins babies and loss of her grandad probably did have an impact on her.It must be such a relief to have both head and house space at times.DS and the ex do seem to have matured and it is very important you have time for you.Twin2 may settle in to employment whether the job is temporary or not..I remember going to Barnard Castle some years ago., Nowadays whenever I see Barnard Castle mentioned I think of Dom driving there to test his eyes. Overdone by the media . He is a very intelligent man.It was Twin2 wasn't it who used to work during the F1 racing near your area? My grandchildren are real adults now. DGD1 went in to teaching as she'd always planned.DGS is now driving the trains like his dad and grandad did DS still is.More recently DG2 has been learning about F1racing.When she was little the Bentley factory was near their home and she loved the shny cars, Recently Jordon Racing has been one of the offers she has had.Her interest is more on the mechanical side. Today DGS said he believes she wants to drive those xars. and I replied there's as much chance of me taking over for David De Gea in goal at OldTraffordIt's interesting sending an order to Canada.I know parts get extremely cold weather so wonderbags and simlar must be useful but the postage must be high.It does seem having an online presence is helping grow the business in a way that fits around yor everyday life.I do hope your brother manages to coax your mum out for a little while. It's sad when people fear going outdoors. but your mum was so ill when in hospital she was in the best place back then as someone ECV.My youngest dd was so bored when GP ordered her to stay indoors at the start o the Pandemic. ECV herself she listened to him and never caught, Covid and avoided Winter Flu and Norovirus .pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
