Things are on the move with the post adoption team and targeted support.
The boys and Dgd had a morning at the horses yesterday. The horses have a calming effect on Dgd.We have finally found drum lessons for her as well.
I have formally withdrawn Dgd from school and we start home schooling today. Eek.

Sending very best wishes, Savvy. DGD did sound very unhappy at school.4

I wish you the best of luck with the home schooling Savvy, it's not something I would have wanted to do but it does sound as if GD might benefit from it.It's not difficult!

Good luck with Dgd's home schooling, home schooling takes dedication and research, but can have so many positives. I know of several families who home school and have found that their children have attained so much more than they would have in main stream school. There are support groups on line where parents/guardians can share ideas and resourses and when we get to more normal times maybe group activities locally that Dgd can join in with. Use them as for ideas and support - you will feel less alone. I really respect you for taking responsibility for her education!Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"8
