  • Another glorious day....not.
Ventured out early on to go to Lidl, spent £28.55, decided to go to Sainsburys as there was a couple of things I couldn't get in Lidl to find the road going that way was down to 1 lane due to flooding and it was bumper to bumper cars, so parked up at B&M spent £1.59 in there and then walked to Sainsburys, its just a 5 minute walk there but I was drenched by the time I got back to the car, spent £4.52 in there as well. Got back from town and decided as I was already wet I might as well walk the dog.
Then put shopping away, sorted out the little freezer into the big freezer, have found 17 portions of soup/curry for my lunches have put them altogether in one part of the freezer so they are easy to get to, found 3 portions of beef stew which I've got out to defrost and will add potatoes and make a pie for tomorrow nights tea. Made rocky road which used up some left over Christmas chocolates and biscuits which no one seems to be eating.
Need to check banking and check kids lunch accounts as they will need topping up ready for school on Monday.

    Have a great weekend xx

The weather has been dire just lately hasn't it.  I got caught in a hailstorm on my way home from work yesterday, I couldn't manage an umbrella as well as a bag and the crutch so it was pounding down on my head like stones. The weather is just dull and windy here today, I'm hoping the rain will hold off as I'm out with friends early evening.

    Have a good weekend.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Morning.
Waiting for DD to text me back regarding me picking her up from friends this morning, why is it teenagers can be on facebook, Instagram and sending 50 million snapchaps all at the same time, but can't respond to a simple text from their mother. Insert double angry face because my bl**dy emojis don't work on this stupid new site, ok rant over.
  • Back to positivity, DD has managed to find movement in her hand and mum's taxi will pick her up in half an hour.
We have sunshine and some blue sky, although it is very blustery and looks like rain later on. first load of washing is whizzing, yesterdays washing has been put away and bunged pie filling in the slow cooker. Chicken taken out of freezer for tomorrows tea, just need to boil some eggs for lunch and make a syrup sponge for tea.
Banking checked and all is ticking along, could really do with some ebay sales, staying positive as I have a few watchers.
    Have a great weekend xx
  • Few more surveys done and a £5 M&S voucher redeemed.

All sounds good.  I hope the weather brightens up soon, everywhere is so boggy.

It decided to brighten up after I had walked the dog this morning, was soaked by the time I got back as it decided to sleet and rain.
