  • Decided to pay £100 off CC as I have no bus pass or school dinners to pay for this month.

Glad your Gran is home and I think flowers are essential, hope she loves them!
Fresh eggs sound good well done chickens, well done for paying extra to the credit card.

  • Morning,
Yesterday was quite a productive day, managed to get 3 loads of washing dried on the line, bedding changed, bathroom deep cleaned, bedroom tidied and furniture polished, stairs and landing hoovered, kitchen cabinets and appliances cleaned down, then made a roast chicken dinner.
Cashed out on swagbucks so a £5 M&S voucher should be heading my way, had an email to say an event we were going to in May has been cancelled (no surprise) need to keep an eye on CC to make sure I get refund.
DH has a long weekend off, long list of jobs to be done but I think today will be a chilling day as he has been working hard.

Well done for doing all of that yesterday :). I'd be exhausted if I did all of that in one day!

You’re sounding so focussed, great to hear. Have a good weekend x
  • Thanks for popping by HHOD and Brizzle, hope you had a nice Easter.
Well that's Easter done and dusted and was a very quiet one i'm sure for all. DS also had his birthday he mainly got money and Amazon gift cards, we had a takeaway as a treat and it was lovely.
Weather continues to be beautiful and sunny although the breeze is cool, so more washing on the line today. Housework to do today as DH has been off work for 4 days and he just seems to leave stuff everywhere, although I shouldn't complain as he did do some little jobs whilst off and fixed DS bike. We have had some lovely dog walks and yesterday the wood was a blanket of bluebells, I love where I live and i'm loving that I can go for a walk and see nobody and just enjoy the beauty of my surroundings and have it all to myself. Where I live there is a large country hotel nearby by, so there is often tourists wandering around lost, I have even had people knock on my door to ask where the nearest bus stop is and several times I have been asked to fill up water bottles!!
Finances are looking pretty healthy, I'm worrying about our holiday in August as I don't know whether to try and move it to next year, I have only paid the deposit £240 but the balance is due beginning of June, I don't want to pay it if the holiday gets cancelled and then I have to mess around trying to get money back. I would rather lose £240 than £3000.
I'm back in work tomorrow and Friday, so will do a food shop when I leave on Friday afternoon so I don't need to go out again over the weekend, although we shouldn't need a huge amount, I do need to try and get some baking bits as i'm running low on caster sugar and flour.
    Keep safe xx

    Morning Pennywise,
All sounded very positive from you. I live in a very beautiful place too (not quite as quiet as you describe), but we have lots of lovely walks and I am thankful more than ever for it now. Cant believe you have people knocking for to you to refill their waterbottle!!! I wouldnt dream of that haha!!!
    Have a lovely day xx

All sounding positive.  I wouldn't know what to do about the holiday, it's all unknown isn't it.
