Anyone else able to confirm that this account (and possibly maturity account) doesn't show up online? I assume then there's no way to track the balance if so.

    Assumptions correct.

    Manual spreadsheet entry for me.

Just opened a Saffron BS Regular Saver by post. Anyone else able to confirm that this account (and possibly maturity account) doesn't show up online? I assume then there's no way to track the balance if so.

It'll be view only but you can if you open an online savings account and then call or secure message Saffron to add your regular saver to internet banking.

So, he said, as long as the issue number was different it was OK. So check if an online issue 2 and a branch issue 2 can be had at the same time.

Having an online Issue 1 and a branch issue 1 was OK so I assume a branch issue 2 can be opened if you have an Online Issue 2?

    Four in all.

PS: OK for four via Live Chat. Let's hope the stores know!

What on Earth do I do.. I've been getting no interest for about half a year.

As suggested by the creator and maintainer of this thread and other posters.
The best thing you could do is to start a new thread as you are more likely to get response with your queries as this thread is only for RSA ...

With respect to Leeds RS Issue 3, which is closed for contributing from 1 February, do I need to cancel the SO myself, or are they going to?

Yes I agree. I didn't make it clear yesterday when I mentioned one account per issue.

The online and store regular saver accounts are different products - different account names, operation methods and maturity dates. It' shouldn't be a problem to have one of each issue for both online and store accounts.

Yes, I can confirm one of each issue. We called in our local (very small) branch this morning and each opened a branch based Regular Saver 2, making 4 Regular Savers each, with Virgin. The staff seemed fully informed.
It's advisable to take 2 forms of identification (maybe driving license and passport). We've been with them for many years but their system still 'required' it, but only for my husband!!
