If you already hold an M&S current account and switch, I was told that you will not get the £170 over 2 years deal
You are right, their switch T&Cs are very restrictive now, and the incentive is not available any longer to anyone who had a current account for more than 3 months. A bit of a b*mmer for those who didn't act when M&S first introduced their "must have switched" T&Cs for the Monthly Saver. Although they can still switch to be eligible for the Monthly Saver, they just won't get the £170. Worth calling again though and trying whether you could sweet-talk them into it after all
I have edited my earlier post, thanks for pointing this out.0 -
Saffron Building Society no longer accepting new applications in branch or via post for their regular saver @ 3.5%

It's regular branch saver two which you can get now - not issue 1. Sorry, I misread your post. Regular branch saver 1 was withdrawn 10/01/2017
So online 1 & 2 still available but branch only issue 2, am I right? Can't keep up with the shenanigans.
Planning on going to the Haymarket branch, should I get an appointment beforehand or do they do walk-ins?0 -
