Thanks for the reply. Obviously wonderfully too good to be true as I thought, but I have to blame not the best of eye sight these days and missed the crucial "dot".
Sorry about getting anyone excited in vain.0 -
Thanks for the useful info on this thread. It is a fairly new experience for me to have savings so I am just getting to grips with the idea of trying to maximise interest.
I opened a Nationwide Flexdirect account last month and put the max £2500 in that. I am also now getting OH to open one of these accounts too. After that I think I will try the Clydesdale 4% account. My only worry is that applying for a few current accounts quite close together, may look dodgy on my credit report. I will apply anyhow and see how it goes.0 -
Just called Penrith Building Society and the account has now been fully subscribed.0

I was baffled by a Christmas Saver that matured on 31st December. Fortunately withdrawals or closure are possible in November and December without loss of interest.0

Have to open in branch.
Yup, opened mine yesterday, it's probably good money for the advertising, marketing and local pr, as whilst it looks like a high rate it's only costing them £150 at most.
Had to wait nearly a week for an appointment but wasn't too painful, have to take some literature and get a quite for house insurance.
They're also doing a 3.1% regular saver which you can subscribe to as well! which has more flexibility, up to £250 a month as well.0 -
Hi Everybody,
I have carried out this weekend's update.
I have moved three regular savers from post 3 to post 7 as they now have less than 12 months to run. I have also added the West Brom Adult's Regular Saver (Issue 3) and their Children's (Issue 3) account to post 4.
I will do another update next weekend.
