    Hi Folks,

I have added the Nottingham BS Summer Saver to post 3 as it lasts longer than 12 months. Thanks to the folks above for posting the details on this thread. I have done a quick check and cannot spot anything else to change.

I will do another update next weekend.

I need some serious advice as to what to do with my excess savings each month! 3 Lloyds Vantage accounts full. First Direct regular saver being paid into. Already have Santandaer ISA from last year. ISAs this year look pants. Any suggestions?

Nationwide FlexDirect for 5% up to £2500 for a year. You can have up to 3 Bank of Scotland Vantage accounts as well as your Lloyds accounts.

Santander 123 you need to pay £2 a month? I have only a £10 DD (phone).

BoS Vantage - nice, similar to Lloyds. FlexDirect - good rate. Bummer is I'd have SO many accounts, such a pain. Shame there isn't ONE main savings account with a decent rate. Feel I should bung a wad into an ISA this year but rates are SO poor :(

Branch access only (on or after 1 October 2014) and has to be set up in branch after "friendly chat".

Appointments made last Sat but the friendly staff were able to open over the counter though for OH and I. Took five mins at the very maxiumum.

Note that we are already savers at NBS though.

Cheers again for the heads-up - we wouldnt have spotted this anywhere else (for a while anyway) so it is appreciated.

    Hi Specal Saver 2

The Nottingham Summer Saver entries should read that 'You can also miss as many monthly payments as you like' according to their webpage:

HSBC has been 4% for new savers for quite some time. FD is still 6.
