Swansea Building Society.
Minimum investment - £25.00 per month
Maximum investment - £500.00 per month
4.00%
Seems to last for one year only, but can continue. The website says "At each anniversary of the account opening, the entire balance will be transferred to another account held with the Society. Further subscriptions can continue into the second and subsequent years."

I've just received some updated T&C from HSBC.
From 1 December, they will be reducing the maximum amount to their regular savings accounts to £200/month (from £250) - for accounts opened after that date.
Not sure how long its been on HSBC's website but it now says:The Savings Accounts Terms and Conditions (effective 1 December 2012) state that any Regular Saver account opened on or after 1 December 2012 will have a maximum monthly subscription limit of £200. This is not correct. Accounts opened on or after 1 December 2012 will have a maximum monthly subscription limit of £250. For these accounts, please therefore read '£250' for '£200' in clause 3 of the Savings Accounts Terms and Conditions. The subscription limits may change for future Regular Saver accounts you open, but we will tell you if this is the case.

Just started looking at these accounts. Quite a few don't say anything about a maximum opening deposit, or am I missing something?
What's to stop me dropping £50k into one of these accounts and then paying the regular deposit there after?0 -

Can you give an example? It's very rare to find a regular savings account that allows a large opening deposit.0 -

The only RS accounts that I have ever seen have a maximum amount that can be deposited each month. The opening deposit is the first month's subscription.0
