Just applied for a new FD regular since my old one matured this week. Shame it's gone down to 6% but it's better than a poke in the eye.
Mine matures this 31/3/13. Am I allowed to open another only after this date?

    Great thread, thank you :money:
krbs One Year Regular Savings Account

    Interest rate: 4% gross p.a. from 20th July 2012
    Monthly payment: £25-£500
    Miss any payments: No
Penalty-free withdrawals: Yes, as many as you want.
    Age of applicant: Any age
How to open account: Branch (although arsenalboy has managed to open an account by post - see message 1755 on this thread)
I rang yesterday and I was told that you need £25 to open the account but then can put in as little as £1 to count as a regular payment. See post 13 here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4510797

    FYI,

Monmouthshire Saver Plus issue 1 - closed issue.

Just got a letter saying this account is going to be completely closed from 1st June 2013.No more 3.05% - just as I was going to up the payments to 1K per month again.

Existing accounts can be closed and will get the bonus to closure.

If the account is not closed, it will be transferred to issue 2 which gets 1.35% + 1% bonus.

    Hi Folks,

I have updated the entry on the krbs account with the information provided above. I have also fixed some broken links. Apart from that, I cannot find anything else to change.

I will do another update next weekend or the weekend after.

    Hi Everybody,

If you have a look at Kazza242's Mini Cash ISAs thread, at the bottom of the first post you will find details of 4 regular savings ISAs. The highest paying of these is the Nottingham BS account paying 4%.

There is nothing else that I can find that has changed this week.

I will do another update next weekend.

Norwich and Peterborough BS have dropped the rates on their Regular Saver Account and their E-Regular Saver Account to 3%

Their Gold Savings Account (Reg. Saver) is still paying 5% at the moment though.

  • Been into Cheshire BS today with intention of opening a Platinum Issue 7 account (as my issue 3 was maturing) - Refused to open as I already had other issues open. Rule now is that 1 account per account holder rather than 1 issue per account holder.

Has anyone met the same ?
