    Hi Everybody,

Many thanks to the contributors above.

I have changed the Dunfermline account entry to the new issue 2 and removed the issue 1 account link. As the interest rate has fallen from 5% (issue 1) to 4% (issue 2), I have moved it down the list in post 4 to sit with the other 4% accounts.

I have added the 6% First Direct account to the top of post 5.

I have also added the Savings Champion regular savings page details to the list in post 1 and the sources that I will check on a weekly basis (but please feel free to post a message to this thread if you notice something before I do).

I will update this thread again next weekend.

Nice policies. I want to invest for one year or less duration. What is the best policy to cover? And what is the rate of interest will I get?

Is there a chance you are in the wrong thread? There are no policies here, and no investments, but if you want a Regular Saver, the information about interest rates are all in this thread.

You're not really taking this saving thing seriously, are you, Alex?

Ah, that's a relief, I take back my overly critical comment with apologies. So you are prepared to get her pregnant for one really?
  • Hi Folks,

I cannot see anything that has changed for this weekend's update.

I will do another update next weekend.

  • Hi Everybody,

I have updated the Principality account mentioned in the post above (now issue 13) and also updated the Ulster Bank account entry to reflect the interest rate has dropped from 3% to 2.5% on balances of under £15,000 and on balances above this it pays 1% rather than the previous 1.5%.

I will do another update next weekend.
