(Nationwide) I applied early on Monday morning, and received the email at noon. Now Wednesday afternoon, money not yet taken. Given everyeon else's experiences, I would suggest going in branch or phone for anyone else trying to get one of these.

Also, the 0800 30 20 10 number can be used for general calls as well. I certainly used it until I signed up with talktalk plus (free 0845), as I'd rather nationwide save money than talktalk. Of course I prefer secure messaging, so would only call in an emergency anyway.

I applied for Flexclusive Regular Saver online on Friday 10th and received the "Up to 7 days" email almost immediately.
My online statement shows that the initial payment was deducted from my Flex account on Monday 13th (mentioning in brackets that the transaction was on 10th).

New account is still not showing online today (15th).

For anyone else waiting on the Nationwide Flexclusive Regular Savings account, I applied Friday, got an email and text message today saying account was open and would appear in online banking within 5 days.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I applied online, in case that made some sort of difference. No money taken from Flexaccount yet though!

so from reading this thread it would appear the only way to get double the monthly paying in amount for the new Nationwide Reg Saver is for seperate husband and wife accounts by going into a branch. It isnt doable on line and you cant put £500 into the joint version.
    Or did I miss something?
  • I have had a Flexaccount for many years, very little use. How strict in the £750 per month criteria? Anyone managed to get an RS open without the 3 month x £750?

No. One per account. A joint account is one account.

How strict do you like Terms and Conditions to be? Personally I like them to be true; it increases my confidence!

You will be losing a fraction over 4p gross interest per day.

I would sue if I was you.
