Sun_Addict said:Glad the dog was ok but so sorry about the rabbit. That vet bill is astronomical 😱 Is the abscess cancerous, is he suffering? If not can he live for a few months/years pain free?Oh Buffy 😩 Big hugs xx
It is "just" an infection and it is a matter of finding the right antibiotics BUT that takes time. I have spoken to a few people in a rabbit group I am in and they have some suggestions. I am going to put them in an e mail and see what she says. I am prepared to make the decision but the vet was prepared to give him a week and see how he responds to the meds.
He has eaten well today and took his meds.Nevertheless she persisted.5 -

Bunny is doing pretty well. HATES the medicine but is more lively and interested. My girl bunny is very protective of him. They are together a lot. Checking on him and grooming him.
My head is better today - finally tonight!! So lovely not to be pain that makes you think you are going vomit every five seconds.
I have put 50 pounds in my extra deposit account. and got 7 odd pounds interest on my htb - 4290.
Been a weird day today. So pleased about bunny. But so tired.
Also back is killing me.

Right. Manchester is in some kind state of emergency. Rates of the virus seem to be going up all over the show and I need to use August to make sure I am as well prepared as I can be for the winter.
I have made a list of ten things I have to get done today. I have done my French lesson(!) and about to do my short exercise video. And then hopefully out in the garden to look at/do some stuff......... My back is still quite painful but I honestly think that is lack of movement all weekend and that I weirdly relaxed and now the normally tense muscles hurt?
Any how will report back later.

I've picked up my French again on Duolingo - thoroughly enjoying it, and hoping to help dd with her GCSE next year. Hope you're getting through your list today better than I am.Not giving up

I was very grown up today.
Well not that grown up as ordered Chinese and have DEFINITELY eaten far too much. But anyway.
I phoned a mortgage adviser.
He was recommended by a friend, my best friend actually and was very positive. I have an excellent credit rating, a good wage, a good job. and the start of some decent savings. Technically I have 8000, although 3000 is the emergency fund but hey if it comes to it I will use it to buy a house. Well a very small flat.
This means i need to save another 12,000 pounds. Or 15,000 (if I want to keep an emergency fund) to buy a place for 200,000.
I know I kinda knew this but to have a professional who knows exactly what I earn and everything say yes you could totally get a mortgage, and no it isn't too late, give it six - eight months for things re virus to calm down and 90/95 percent deals would be back........Well that felt good. Made me feel a little bit excited about the future.
Other than that I sorted toiletries (so much body lotion) and put CDs in fancy new boxes. Oh and cleaned the animals out. Nice clean room too.
Still have an absolute tonne of de cluttering to do. 6 bags for charity. Shed needs to be the next focus.
Rubbish cleared from Front garden (CCL if you are reading ours has been there over a year now!!)
I need to find a professional shredder person -well company I presume. I know I could it do but I have burnt through two shredders in the last 6 months. I hate shredding.
And sell things. the next round. Minimal minimal minimal.
