I didn't sleep till 2am. My friend had to call the police on her frankly scumbag piece of crap boyfriend. I chatted to her for a bit and then worried A LOT.
    Haircut in 40 minutes.
I need a nap so heaven knows what I will be like in the hot hair dressers. And I think I need to wear a mask don't I ? Well..that will make the view in the mirror easier to deal with!
and I think I will just nap - too hot for anything else!
    Nevertheless she persisted.

  • New hair was somewhat wasted on the hot weather as I scrapped it back as soon as I could!
I have booked it again in six weeks as even if I hate the hairdressers, mine is really nice and I should at least try to keep my hair decent.
I have done nothing since then. Aside from moan about the heat.
I am out to meet friends tomorrow. Am looking forward to it. just can't move! too hot!

    Nevertheless she persisted.

I don’t like going to the hairdressers, it’s a necessary evil. I always end ruining my new hair by having a bath/shower not long after it’s done. At least at the moment they’re not asking you if you’re off out tonight 🤣 Enjoy your meet up with friends, I’m desperate for a meet up with mine but no one wants to risk it 😩

  • I am glad I am not the only one who feels like that about hairdressers!
I m not meeting my friends. My sister needs my help with my bil, he is going to the dentist as an emergency today but she can't time the transport to the appointment so in this heat she will be stuck in the high street with him and as the transport will have left she will have to get him in alone - I can't remember if I said last she went she fell. So I said I would I go with her. Just bad timing re brunch.
My friend isn't very understanding, so I will have to fix that at some point. I know what she means - this whole virus thing has been me worrying mum and brother in law and not much else. I have only seen her once in the last 6 months but really it is hot, I am stressed out about the animals.....mum.......sister. I can't leave my sister in the lurch.
    anyhow.
    keep moving forward.

No you can't leave your sister in the lurch.  When your friend gets over her disappointment she will realise that.  She has probably been looking forward to seeing someone other than her own 4 walls.  It is a funny old time we are going through.  Well at least for those of us who care about what is happening.
