Rough day here. Went out for dinner to good bye to a dear friend, it was odd to go out after so long but in the end I quite enjoyed myself. Will miss the old gang (a lot of people are leaving)
However today I have been really unwell. I vaguely started to monitor what I am eating to see if it had an effect and I think it might be bread - or gluten(or it might just be the bread I buy ?? I never seem to exactly like bread) . Last night I had pizza for example. Generally at home now I eat the same as mum, as opposed to eating separately as I might do if were late home or eating out etc so it is a lot of sandwiches. Under normal So I ordered a home test kit and I now I have to pluck up the courage to !!!!!! my own finger. If I get a negative I will have to go to the doctors. But if it is positive I will go gluten free and see if I am better.
My 26th of July being free from clutter date passed me by, I have either been too sad.slow or it has rained to sort the shed. Downstairs looks better and I have a few jobs to do in my room. Friday when the rabbits are at the vets I will do some more work on my room. Need to move some things round and sort the charity shop stuff. There is quite a lot.
I really do feel rough. Think I need to some food. Chocolate is gluten free right?

I feel terrible if I drink less than two litres a day - just a thought. What’s happening with the rabbits at the vets?Don’t beat yourself up too much about what you don’t get done, be kind to yourself xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

My boy rabbit needs an Xray to see what is happening with his teeth and my girl will go with for company. The dog is also having an x ray. That will be highly amusing. Me, carrier, excitable dog. Huge car park and a flight of stairs.
GOD I love chocolate!

I am not so sure it is always gluten that causes these problems. I think it is sometimes the flavour enhancers they use. I can only eat a single slice of bread without feeling rubbish but if I bake a loaf from scratch I can eat much more. A lot of ready meals make me feel rubbish too, but tomato based ones are better than the others. There are loads of chinese restaurants & takeaways around here but there is only one of each in a 15 mile radius that don't make me feel bad. Then I feel even worse when we go somewhere else because everyone else is saying how marvelous it is & after all we all had bits of each!Hope your animals are all okay & that don't cause your pocket too much pain!4

I didn't get tested but just cut out gluten (it's in a lot of things so do check everything, I can't eat barley either) and felt wonderful. If I accidentally slip up and have anything with a trace of it in now then I'm poorly for days. We don't have any take aways as I can't check for cross contamination. We had one chip shop local to our old house that offered gluten free chips and it was lovely to eat them knowing I wouldn't suffer but I just don't take the risk now.4

Today I have been tearful and tired. I stayed up till 1.30 watching a programme I enjoy but have sort of lost track of what is going on cos I am always tired when I watch it. I think being tired makes me emotional and frankly I am missing my routine of getting up and going to work. I feel so lost and without purpose. Sorry guys but I do miss my job. I want something to "do" God knows there is enough to do here I just don't want to do it! I really think it is the "have tos" that get me. (have to clean, have to tidy have to garden) First world problems one and all, I should be grateful for what I have.
Yesterday I set up two small (very small......too small really but moving on) fish tanks. One new fish is doing ok but three of the others got sucked into the filter!!!!! I am horrified by this! I am so upset and annoyed. I mean I do subscribe to the theory that if a fish is sucked into the filter it probably wasn't up to much but that isn't sitting right with me today. I mean three of them! Come on!
I feel like the rabbits are fully bonded and can now move outside but I need to get going on their outside housing in a big way. I don't know what has happened in the last two weeks. Cannot believe it is August. For REAL on Saturday.
Ugh.
Oh all refunds have been paid and I have no CC bill.Nevertheless she persisted.4
