I can’t eat too much bread based stuff it makes me feel bleugh. I try to keep it to one small portion a day. Do you drink much water? I feel terrible if I drink less than two litres a day - just a thought.

What’s happening with the rabbits at the vets?

Don’t beat yourself up too much about what you don’t get done, be kind to yourself xx

I absolutely don't drink enough water. At work I drank loads of tea, but at home mum drinks barely anything so I tend to forget. One day last week I deliberately ate bread at all three meals and spent the next day wishing I was dead! However stuff like pasta doesn't have that effect I don't think? Any how once I pluck up the courage  to do the test I might know.
My boy rabbit needs an Xray to see what is happening with his teeth and my girl will go with for company. The dog is also having an x ray. That will be highly amusing. Me, carrier, excitable dog. Huge car park and a flight of stairs.

    GOD I love chocolate!

I am not so sure it is always gluten that causes these problems.  I think it is sometimes the flavour enhancers they use.  I can only eat a single slice of bread without feeling rubbish but if I bake a loaf from scratch I can eat much more.  A lot of ready meals make me feel rubbish too, but tomato based ones are better than the others.  There are loads of chinese restaurants & takeaways around here but there is only one of each in a 15 mile radius that don't make me feel bad.  Then I feel even worse when we go somewhere else because everyone else is saying how marvelous it is & after all we all had bits of each!

Hope your animals are all okay & that don't cause your pocket too much pain!

oooo that is VERY interesting Badmemory. As I have only felt "this" bad in lockdown. We have had one type of bread to eat which I instinctively feel is the problem. I do tend to go off food absolutely and completely and have strong associations with food making me ill. Often after a meal out I have a terrible stomach ache but I think that is because it is SO much more food then I normally eat. I hate food. Like really aside from chocolate and chips (!) there are so few things I really really like and look forward to eating!

I didn't get tested but just cut out gluten (it's in a lot of things so do check everything, I can't eat barley either) and felt wonderful.  If I accidentally slip up and have anything with a trace of it in now then I'm poorly for days.  We don't have any take aways as I can't check for cross contamination.  We had one chip shop local to our old house that offered gluten free chips and it was lovely to eat them knowing I wouldn't suffer but I just don't take the risk now.
  • Today I have been tearful and tired. I stayed up till 1.30 watching a programme I enjoy but have sort of lost track of what is going on cos I am always tired when I watch it. I think being tired makes me emotional and frankly I am missing my routine of getting up and going to work. I feel so lost and without purpose. Sorry guys but I do miss my job. I want something to "do" God knows there is enough to do here I just don't want to do it! I really think it is the "have tos" that get me. (have to clean, have to tidy have to garden) First world problems one and all, I should be grateful for what I have.
Yesterday I set up two small (very small......too small really but moving on) fish tanks. One new fish is doing ok but three of the others got sucked into the filter!!!!! I am horrified by this! I am so upset and annoyed. I mean I do subscribe to the theory that if a fish is sucked into the filter it probably wasn't up to much but that isn't sitting right with me today. I mean three of them! Come on!
I feel like the rabbits are fully bonded and can now move outside but I need to get going on their outside housing in a big way. I don't know what has happened in the last two weeks. Cannot believe it is August. For REAL on Saturday.
    Ugh.
Oh all refunds have been paid and I have no CC bill.
