Thanks CCL x I need it this morning X
Well had a nice stay at my friend's watched the football and a film. She is a very good mate. She drove us to the beach yesterday, we walked and had lunch. It was lovely to see the sea again. Really was. Bit hot for me mind, I think I got sun stroke.
Now I am home and miserable again! There aren't enough distractions here.
I need to be busy essentially. Otherwise I am dwelling on things, what's it called? Ruminating?
Anyhow whatever it is I need to get a shift on. xxx

Ok so today is going to be difficult. I can feel that.
I have showered and dressed and put the shopping away. I am angry with myself and can't see a way forward from this situation. I may well be out of debt but I think I will have to rent a flat next year instead of buying as I can't go on like this.
I don't know what to do with myself.

Perhaps you could make a list of the things that you want to change then consider options for how you could bring about those changes. Would having your own place make you happier, taking into account you wouldn't have as much spare cash?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I think you have to think of you & what is best for you.No one else does so you do.If that means renting a flat do it.Do it now. If I am honest I don't want to give up the dream of owning a place, I want to see what happens to the housing market, I have a tiny bit of hope that it will crash (apologies) and I would be able to buy......but I think I need to be realistic and deal with the idea of renting.
I have achieved all my other dreams more or less, a couple I am working on. I really do need so more dreams (or goals). I think I need to get back to writing them down every day. I got more done then.
I walked to the shop and got bread etc. About to make lunch. washing is on. moving forward is the key.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
Well I had lunch, a nap (!) was meant to be watching Modern Family but dozed off for 40 winks. I am thinking about goals. I am having a cup of tea but then I shall go out in the garden as it has cooled off a fair bit. Not that it was that hot!
I am going to try and set up my wildlife pond........

Ok so D Head randomly messaged. Can't lie, it did cheer me immensely.
Also cleared a bit of the garden and started to paint a raised bed. That also made me feel better.
Have to go, need food.

Hello Juliejim how are you ? X
I have thought about little else and strangely it has been quite focusing.
I need to rethink the house thing. I keep saying "do battle" or fight the clutter or whatever. That is just negative and wearing me down. I like (!) being out in the garden because it feels like I am creating something. I would love to do what CCL is doing (amazing!) but it isn't my house so I need to put my energies elsewhere. I still need to donate/sell what I don't need but I don't have to control everything in here. I simply can't. Essentially with the virus who knows what happens re jobs, housing, I want to be open to opportunities and keep moving forward.
So goals for the next six months.
1. To become a minimalist.
I am not talking about black and white two outfits and one piece of furniture but owning less and needing to store MUCH less, I am looking at stuff in the shed and my room and I know I don't need it or want it. I have got rid of so much already it is bonkers but I need to have less. Clear the decks even more. Ready for whatever happens next.
2. To do better at my job.
My place isn't the best and I have definitely let my standards drop. And I need to think about a new job in the next 12-18 months (see how the new management goes) so brushing up my skills and looking at shiny new ways to do stuff would be good.
3. To lose weight.
I need to lose 60 pounds long term but my first goal is ten pounds. Eating wise I am cutting down rather than out. And I did two workouts today (small short beginner workouts!)
4. To save a minimum of 700 pounds a month.
5. To have a relationship with a manI think that will mean back to online dating! oh joy!

Morning, slept in but was up so late last night. did another beginners' workout and just eating breakfast.
Plans for today are
1. check bank (pay day soon!)
2. clear hall
3. clean out the animals...
4. stare meaningfully at the conservatory.
5. I need to dye my hair.
I have ordered new leggings, my current collection is a bit haphazard....will they fit? do they stay up? And I don't know about anyone else but I seem to never be able to organise the leggings and am always having them fall down be too tight etc. So I have ordered two types and if they work then all the others will go in the recycling! and I will start afresh! I welcome recommendations re leggings.
best get on with something XXNevertheless she persisted.2
