Sorry to hear it Buffy. Is there anything you can do to make your own transportable workspace? Eg I literally had a small wheeled suitcase when I was doing my MSc, it meant I could work in quiet off campus coffee shops and on the commute while still having the ridiculous amount of books, files and pens I needed to hand.Debt free May 2016... 1. I have no where to work at work - this going from classroom to class room is ridiculous. I keep losing stuff and it is actually really upsetting. I am sick of it and I am sick of and disgusted by the complete lack of recognition of the stupidity of how we are being expected to work at my place. I mean really !!!!!!.
My boss is a lovely person, which is so unusual in my job! he has been so kind and understanding. I can't believe it.
2. I have no where to work at home. Life here is stupid in the extreme at the moment.
It is stupid but it is also almost the end of term and much of the big work is done.
3. It won't stop bloody raining
It has stopped!
4. Work is insane. I still have things to mark.
Work is insane but marking has mostly finished
5. The rabbits are flooded
Looks better today, and my friend has put an offer on a maisonette with a garden, so fingers crossed she can take them back - she was so pleased to have found the place and I hope she gets it. She does miss them.
6. The dogs are ill.
They are ok in themselves and I have got them different food so we will see how that goes!
7. Did I mention the marking? Jesus, I can't cope.
See above, boss averted nervous breakdown and weirdly found the missing assessments.
Also have no money.
No miracles there!
and am hungry.
The only one i can solve is the hunger so will put dinner on.
Dinner was a bit too freezer based yesterday so today am venturing into the world of the Spanish Omelette. I do feel a lot better, tho am shattered had about three hours sleep last night, was going to nap but discovered the rabbits had tipped up their water so went and sat with them.
I actually did get a little excited about the holidays and the house and garden plans on the way home today. Mum had some good news, another specialist called and has arranged to restart the treatment she was having before covid so that might be brilliant news.
anyhow again am starving! need to wait for sainsburys to deliver....

Good things are improving!! Re spanish omlette - some good ingredients are chilli cheese, red onion and chorizo/salami type meat. We also add sliced potatoes which we crisp up first. heart attack on a plate but worth it. Oh and not sure if you've had Nando's perinaise?? (basically mayo with piri piri) - goes with just about everything and makes it taste great!1

My version of Spanish omelette generally means frying a bit of bacon, any leftover veg in the fridge, plus an onion and dicing the soggiest potato
but I'm sure it's nicer if you take it seriously instead of as a clear up option!

The Omelette was really nice. I can't remember what I put in it now.
Work was hell. So many people are leaving, we don't have replacements and I am actually crunching up with fear about next year. A lot of the students are obviously suffering which is heart breaking and then some are utterly vile to each other and staff. I made a split second decision to move classrooms, I need a fresh start, after !!!!!!, after covid, with all my friends leaving, I need to view this like a new job, the head is at best keen and efficient at worst a !!!!!!. Time will tell.
I wasn't massively well yesterday, am assuming it was stress as it was an awful week. Need to hoover and after reading Willow's diary I feel inspired to empty my conservatory! I was planning to do it but not feeling massively up for it... but now I am like.........hmmmm. Come on!Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Hoovered and tidied up the hall. Mum barely noticed aside from the post pile being gone. However I am very pleased to have the shoe rack up and some food for the food bank sorted.

Definitely think the stress of the last few weeks caught up with me today. I cleaned the bathroom and got dressed, came downstairs and virtually passed out on the sofa. Can't believe it is 5.30! Well nearly 6pm
I took house bunny to vets this week, 50 quid, vet is LOVELY and said he was doing well, his abscess has burst and isn't getting any bigger, I will take him to the specialist in the holidays, Debt stands at 1780 now, with a 104 on my regular CC. 17 days till pay day!
I am debating with myself to just pay back the CC money. I have been spending so much lately. Been going out! Not saved anything(aside from house money). Am looking at it now wondering why I did it. I suppose it was to have the money available for the vets. I just wanted to feel as ready as I could for what happens next. Seems a bit silly now. Ugh. Am proper skint this month too. Going out for lunch tomorrow.Nevertheless she persisted.2
