Another vote for a slow cooker.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Yeah we have one........it is massive and everything I cook in it smells like farts......... Feel free to suggest recipes! I have a smaller one but Mum won't use it, still in the shed.. (her shed!)
I have felt rough aside from when I was out walking. I walked to the supermarket, wasted a fair bit of money - two shopping bags, and three small succulents( in cute animal planters) , 14.50 in total. Am quite into my house plants.........

Buffy, if I can cook in one anyone can!
Easiest ever to bung in said slow cooker.
Chicken breasts, mango chutney & some orange juice.

BBC good food slow cooker lemon chicken by jane horner is amazing - serve it with yoghurt and some pitta breads and it always comes out fab.
Sorry to hear it's been a bit of an up and down long weekend but sounds like it was a productive one. Hope bunny's op goes well today, thinking of you xx1 -
Fingers crossed all goes well for bunny today 🙏
I make a lot of Mr SA’s meals in the slow cooker as he struggles to cut meat and doing it in the slow cooker ensures it’s very tender. I just bung in some chicken, passata, spoon of red pesto, then lots of chopped veg and potatoes. Beef wise I use red wine stock pots and passata. Easy way to make curry too with passata and a spoon of curry paste. I usually allow 6 hours on low to cook. When I’m physically in the office I plug it into a timer.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning XX
I have left small bunny at vets. I do have some misgivings about the op. He is fine in terms of not in pain, eating well. I just don't think it is fair to put him through all of this. It will be the last time. Such a shame. probably only has about 8 weeks. Oh it is SO RUBBISH.

No phone call from the vets yet. Did get Mum to x ray and blood test. She didn't want to go and we have only been back an hour, Not much time to do stuff. Might just ring the vets.
I really could do with going somewhere and screaming my brains out. Life is frustrating.

He is home. Not good. The abscess has gotten worse. gone into his bone. He is hiding under the bed.
It cost a ridiculous sum of money. Just pray that there is an antibiotic that will work. XXNevertheless she persisted.1
