We are back, well, we were back at about 12, Mum was really ill last night obviously too private to accept any help, but I didn't sleep and neither did she. The people at the hospital were lovely tho the whole experience was horrible and Mum won't really talk about it! I don't blame her. We came in, had toast and both went to sleep for a few hours, the relief on Mum's face is amazing. We do have to wait for the results, two weeks. Nevertheless it is some respite knowing the big tests are over.
thanks as ever for being hereXXXNevertheless she persisted.3 -
Right, taking advantage of my need to "sort things" I have left the cheque money in my spends accounts, paid the significant CC bill, break the news to you all that for the summer I am moving the piggies out to the garden, along with the house rabbit - at least during the day which meant spending 200 pounds on a new run - it has to be fox proof as I have a million foxes living round here, it gives the piggies 16 square foot of space and house bunny 24 square foot. Which isn't the 60 foot minimum for a pair but not to be sniffed at and will only be for the day time.
I had some bad news about the bun, his lump is back and he is having an op next Tuesday. If the worst happens (and this feels utterly horrible to write) the piggies will simply have more room so I decided it was worth spending the money. Brutal eh. Long term I don't know what to do about the Bunny. At the moment his quality of life is good, he is free roam upstairs, has some company with the piggies and is eating really well. He loves his meds, gets to run around, sleeps under the bed and drive me mad! In the best possible of worlds, he would recover, find a good antibiotic and stay recovered. I could then get him a friend. However I need to be realistic. This will be the fourth time to have the operation. The effects last about 8 weeks, I have gone slightly earlier as he is looking well and being crazy. I didn't want to wait till he got ill and make recovery more difficult. The money for the op has after juggling come out of my spending money and emergency fund. This month it will be the CC. But I think it is last time and I can pay it with April's pay. Makes me really sad and a little afraid. He has been my constant companion all through lockdown and is an absolute darling. Losing him will be horrible but I think it is on the cards. so the outdoor space and a good indoor space is very important.
Now I am hungry. need to find food! XXX

Sorry to read the bad news about the bunny. Is this lump likely to keep coming back then? Glad your mum’s nasty test is done and fingers crossed for a clear result.

You know those night when you just can't go to bed. This is one of those nights.
tho I am going to bed now. Dog Two has sat in front of me - a sure sign!
Also, am watching the Bold Type on Netflix. It is like Sex and the City, but not - as it is a copy but it is enjoyable...

3 minutes into the Morning Live Shizzle and I have already told Doctor "Zand" to !!!!!!. Good grief the utter crap on day time tv depresses me! and yes I am aware I can turn off the TV etc I just wonder why with the TV being such a great communication tool people who make programmes err on the thick gimmicky side of things. I have it on cos there is a piece about rabbits.... Currently muted. ooo Vet on now... dogs and chocolate.
Mum isn't going for her blood test today as feels ill. This means I have a day without having to do anything re hospitals etc. Choices are
1. Empty the shed AGAIN. To make space to put more stuff in - it is mostly full of empty boxes.
2. Empty conservatory, clean and re arrange
3. Clean out the animals
4. Hoover the house
5. Build furniture. (wardrobe, chest of drawers, cupboard, DVD holder, table thing)
6. Rearrange living room.
7. Wrap gifts for two besties to drop at theirs. As in Christmas gifts.....
8. Clean out fish tank and put on new filter.
9. Basic tidy up downstairs.
10. Clean kitchen
there is more. but it is too depressing to post. Everything needs doing!! Some is your basics and some are projects.....Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
sorry mom isn't feeling too good. I would clean out the animals because they give you the most joy being with them. Hope you have a good day x1

So far some light tidying and making of breakfast. Mum has remained in bed, which is fine obviously. But it is difficult to know what to do. As in will she come down - so no housework or will she stay upstairs.
I actually want to sit and cry. I am so tired of everything being such a mess.Nevertheless she persisted.1 -
