So tired. Eight bags to the tip. lots moved in the garden.Wow that was a decent attempt at that to-do list!I've been offline for a bit because this tail end of lockdown is really getting to me. I've just been focusing on work and trying to stay sane. We're going to get back to our grand clearout in this house again soon though. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up a wallpaper steamer and make a start on repainting the bathroom. This was an old man's house before we moved in, we never redecorated (except for the kitchen) and I think the bright orange tesselated pattern in the bathroom is contributing to my lockdown depression haha.70 active minutes is pretty good going!
*hideous.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
I have to admit to being a bit depressed today. I should be happy as am on holiday but Mum is in the most awful pain. I think I am going to write to the doctor again. I think my "holiday" will be as a full time carer. I can't believe how ill she is.
I have the dishwasher and the washing machine on. I moved a 100 pounds to my emergency fund. I need to look at the Amazon returns situation.

Printer is out of ink, my friend who is lovely sent me afternoon tea but I can't use it as mum won't eat it. I really hate my birthday, I don't celebrate it at all and generally keep it a secret. cards and best wishes are great but any kind of fuss and I tend to freak out. Sainsbury's is here. great.Nevertheless she persisted.3

Happy Birthday Buffster 🎂
Sorry to hear your mum isn’t well. All you can do is make her as comfortable as you can then you must take care of yourself too. Could you eat half the afternoon tea today and the other half tomorrow if your mum doesn’t fancy it?Massive hugs xx 🤗I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Happy birthday! Sorry to hear your mum isn't doing great. Can you get some support to look after her so it isn't just you having to shoulder everything? You should enjoy that tea yourself even if your mum can't eat it. You deserve a treat! The steamer is great, btw. Just done one wall so far to test it out, but it's going to make short work of the bathroom and it's so efficient we might tackle the living room with it tooStart Debt Jun 2020 = £10,036 - Current £5,894 | #324 £1,000 Emergency Fund Member - £2053

i don't comment on your diary but do often read
I also have a mum who I live with and whose health needs have meant that I've taken on the role as carer , for what we now know to be a terminal illness. i'm not qualified or a natural at non vocational roles and its taken some time to adjust , some of which has a detrimental affect on my own health.
Without wishing to sound critical , as I'm not , I'm trying to be helpful , I don't think the to do lists are helping you make time for yourself which is so so important when your day is spent considering other peoples needs before your own. Please have a lovely birthday but take your foot of the gas and breath and allow some time just to sit , chill and do whatever you want to do at that point - not to do with the house , the animals , your work etc. Trust me you will burn yourself out as I recognise I have recently trying to carry everything on my own shoulders.
I understand you have sisters , get on the phone to them and tell them you can't do it all yourself and if you do the household will end up in crisis and they need to step in and help even if only a few hours a week to give you some time to do you - I've learnt family members are quite happy to let you get on with it whilst they believe you are coping and its much easier for them to convince themselves you are to take the pressure of themselves when they could be doing more. its so much harder to deal with when you live with the person needing support
Finally I hope you had that afternoon tea , and I hope you have had a lovely day on your birthday and embraced another year on this planet x7
