  • Morning all XX

I have typed about 3 versions of this post. All of which sound whiny and depressing. Suffice to say things are unrelentingly !!!!!! here.

Small Bunny is okish. Bit of an upset tummy. Had to clean his bum. Guinea pigs had a "row" which is normal but not great. Everyone has been medicated and fed, one of the big rabbits got stuck on top of the hutch which is sort of funny but sort of worrying. They could both get up and down when I put a mini hutch in front to climb up on but it was tricky jumping down - 4 foot high! So I swapped the furniture round, turns out !!!!!! head bunny can get up but not down, in a bit of a state when I went out this morning, his girlfriend was sitting on the floor in the middle, most unusual as she likes the hutch (=food) but was obviously agitated. I got him down and he binkied once on the floor! Hopefully he won't do it again.............

I am so worried about Mum is crippling. Also had terrible news yesterday that my friend's wife is very very ill. !!!!!! hasn't been in touch at all but is with his parents and his Dad is terribly ill so am trying not to think about what he might be going through.

Today I am meeting a friend which is good, but the rest of it is busy and annoying!

any how sorry to be on such a downer. Just cannot be positive today. Must get on. XXX

Hopefully you were able to get a few things off your chest this afternoon with your friend. I hope so anyway.
It's not a good time for you and hope you are doing ok. x

It was really lovely, aside from the lack of hugs it was almost normal. We talked a lot about my situation, hers, old friends, new friends. Philosophy........the works.

Being with your friends does truly remind you who you are. And for that I am very grateful.

  • Mum isn't well, refusing to eat (well now had half a slice of toast) drink or take meds. She is still lucid but I feel I will be ringing someone at some point as she isn't good.

I shall go out and get some Dioralyte and plain soup. Got to try something!

Would she have Complan or similar? Some nutrients at least in there for her if she won’t eat.
