I think I have cracked it. I hadn't budgeted my pots from Monzo on YNBA so the balances were not matching it. Now I have done that it is showing exact matches to all my accounts. I think this is going to be a very powerful tool for me going forward.

I support Leeds ( not sure that is safe admitting haha) I have followed them since I was literally old enough to walk. Its always been in the family and i wouldn't have it any other way hehe. Do you follow football or sport in general?Yes I’m a Chelsea fan. Hence the username, even though my name is Frank. I was obviously destined to be a blue. Even born in West London. But yes I’m a massive sport fan in general.0 -
I love ynab. It takes some getting use to. There is a couple of fangroups on FB that are really helpful. A UK one and a general one, that is more US centric, but loads of very knowledgeable people on there who are incredibly helpful.
I set up using YouTube and now I exclusively use the app, I don't like the desktop look lol! But the whole point of ynab is that it shouldn't matter when you get paid. So just budget your paycheck on the 20th in the month you are in, once the 1st comes around the available money just rolls over into the new month. Although I also like having all the dd set up near payday too.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -

Been a good week so far. Work is going well, gym is going great and I am generally in a good place. OH is getting there now after mumps and is nearly back to full health.
Had a default notice letter through today from one of my creditors so it looks like things are finally going to start happening.
Car is going into the garage tomorrow to have all the work done. Seems like I have been talking about this work getting done for like forever, but it is just because I have been budgeting for it happening which is a positive.
Today I have also signed up to YNABtoo many posts on this forum raving about it and the curiosity got the better of me. So I am currently on the 34 day free trial, but get this.... I emailed them saying I was a student and they have replied saying that I can get a FREE FULL YEAR!! Super happy with that. I have inputted all my numbers into the spreadsheet on YNAB, I just need to start reading/watching info on how to use it to it's full potential. Any hints & tips will be appreciated greatly!

I just emailed them on the ‘help(at)youneedabudget.com and they replied within half an hour. Well worth asking with your NUS. What apprenticeship are you doing?Frank1 -
