Thank you for the welcome, can’t wait to get planning more and reading all of your wonderful posts helps. Feel so much more organised now I have a list and know what we’ve got so far.
I was in B&M earlier and could not believe when I saw an aisle of Christmas gifts, right next to the summer aisle3 -
Evening everyone, well I still have dirty and matted hair
as the wound opened up a bit when I had the staples and stitches out and because it was bleeding again I have to wait another 5 days.
TREASUREQUEEN thankyou I have been using arnica and essential oils, I used up all the arnica so will have to get some more. I love the sound of the clay tags
MANDCO thankyou I have been resting up. I’m with Taz I thought it was scary when I first watched the grinch. Yep Boots was the same yesterday, advertising £10 Tuesday but it was nearly all out of stock, loads of people complaining. I did giggle at the Christmas litter tray liners 😂
PEPPAPIG err I don’t think beautiful is the word lol, if so, I must now be stunning as new bruising has come out all down the side of my face 🤪 Oh that’s not good locking down again but at least you know your mum will be safer. I bought extra toilet roll and paracetamol yesterday just in case! Well I say I, I haven’t been in a shop since January, DD1 goes in. Love the baubles and standsRAINBOW I think card factory and home bargains have Christmas bags earlyish
VULPIX glad your swelling has gone down, how is the rib? Ooh your job sounds really interesting, what is the tourist attraction? I’m so sorry to hear of your family losses, it must be hard not being able to say goodbye. Is the pressure point present the green clip that clips between the thumb and index finger? If so I find it does help with headaches/migraines
GTQ ha yes purple, black, yellow and green so far lol. I’ve never used aliexpress, I’ve always been a bit wary?
MURIE/MANDCO thankyou I’m just off to the boots site

It is so nice to see lots of posts.Busy, busy, busy.
Free, yes the migraine thing is a clip on pressure points between the thumb and finger. I hope it is a help for her too.I have only ever had migraine a few times, but wow it is just the worst thing. My job is in the sales office at a cave.I haven't done paid work for about 6 years.Get yerself up here girl, some Northern air will put hairs on yer chest! Sending healing vibes to you.I only hurt when I laugh, move, cough, breathe in a bit fast etc, etc!
I got into the Grinch by reading the book at school, job not me being at school ! My son went to the same uni as Dr Seuss.Claim to fame eh.I don't care for Jim Carrey either,he is terrifying.
I have never ordered from Aliexpress I think red robbin uses them.
Love the baubles and hangers Peppa, what will you put in them?
I am off to have a mooch on pinterest.

I buy fairly regularly from Aliexpress and have never had an issue. Not fussed on delivery time, so if anything arrives quickly it is a bonus. However, I do factor in the fact that it is coming from China, so only order "safe" items, eg, I buy toothbrush boxes for my homeless packs, never go for clothing as sizes are iffy & never, ever electrical.A smile costs little but creates much6

I am just looking through gifts tonight and wondering if anyone has any ideas for a Christmas Eve box for my parents (joint) , it is just to give them a little something on Christmas Eve. So far I have a shower gel each, a footpack each and will add a hot choc set, maybe alcohol mini and sweets/ choc each. Just looking for any other ideas4

Evening everyone, omg this heat is killing me 🥵 I got a Hulk mug for Thumpers little stocking today (yayy something was actually in stock)!! Hope you are all having a good weekend
VULPIX fingers crossed the clip works. That sounds fab working in a cave, good for you, I bet you meet some interesting people. Sorry it still hurts, hope it heals soon. Another one who doesn’t find Jim Carrey funny here
GTQ that’s good to know someone who uses them and recommends them. Like you I would only order safe stuff
RAINBOW my first thought was hot choc and a miniature, what about marshmallows? Shortbread?

Oh VULPIX I’m so sorry to hear about your Auntie, you’ve certainly had more than your share of loss recently. I’m glad you’re enjoying your new job though, it sounds very interesting.
FREE/VULPIX does the clip work for headaches in general or just migraine? What would you suggest I need to search for to find it? I’m wondering if it would help DH as painkillers don’t really do the trick.
GTQ that sounds like a really good approach to ordering from China.
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :5 -

I have read two of the Stephen Fry books. There is one about the Greek Gods and the other is about the heroes. His style of writing the tales is very much ‘soap Opera’, so not necessarily historically accurate, but it works well for the content. I borrowed the books from my local library online service.5
